On March 25, 2009, I responded to a K-mart advertisement for all gold jewelry at 70% off plus 10% more off on all regular prices. When I selected two earrings at list prices of $199.99 and $2609.99, the clerk rang the purchase and the price was more than I anticipated. The cash register took 70% off the regular price and then 10% more on the new price at 70% off but not off the original total. The ad implies that there will be an additional 10% taken on the regular price (in other words, 10% of $199.99 or 10% of 269.99). This was not the case... read full review »
