I reccently recieved my credit report and noticed that a collection agency by the name of portfolio recovery had a debt that I owned for $390.00. The debt was orginally from my electric company and was opened on Oct. 2008 and closed Dec. 20o8. The only time I opened an account with Direct energy was in Feb.2008. I called my electric company and asked about this account that was opened under my name in Oct. 2008 they said their was no other account under my name except for the one that I opened in Feb. 2008. I have no idea what is going on and how they got this debt on my credit report. Really mad. read full review »
