I received the notice from Capital One about the interest rate hike. I called the phone number on the notice and was informed that I would have to cancel my account if I did not accept the terms of their ridiculous interest rate increase. I cancelled the account, and was told that I could not use it after May 1st. I then received a notice 2 weeks later from Captial One saying they were "immediately revoking" my charging privledges because they had learned of my plans to file BANKRUPTCY??!! Are you kidding me?
