My 2 year old Kenmore HE2 plus front load washer has a growing mildew problem. I only use small amounts of HE detergent. I have always left the door open when not in use. I don't let clothes sit for long periods of time in the washer. Despite this the rubber door ring is covered in non removable mildew, which is spreading. Searching online, I see that this is a major problem with Kenmore front loaders. There are even several class action suits being filed. Is there any recall for this?
