I signed up for a 1yr package from DirecTV. After the install was completed and the service technician activated the system he gave me a 2yr contract to sign. I made a copy of it after drawing a line through the signature section. I told him that I didn't sign up for this and I asked him to take out the system. He told me not to worry about it. He said that I didn’t have to sign anything and then he quickly left. DirecTV said that I accepted the terms when I activated the system.
