I purchased my Insignia 50" Plasma 720P from Best Buy on 11-20-07, for $1150. On 12-10-08, the screen went black. I called Insignia and found out that I was a little over 2 weeks out of their warranty coverage. I asked them to consider the amount of money that I spent on this TV, and the money I would have to spend to fix it (about $500), and asked them to supply me the part, or take my TV in exchange for a refurbished TV.
