I ordered a ceiling fan in June 27 of 2008 and was charged for both immediately, as this was their policy. I received one of the two fans I ordered (now, I consider this a minor miracle). I phoned three times (July 28, Aug 13 and Aug 26) and each time I was told the fans would be shipped by the end of the week. In September I emailed the sales department for the status of my order.
