I have been waiting for my loan modification to take place for over two years now.. I had to almost file bankruptcy as well in order to stop a foreclosure sale on my home in 2008. I completed a forbearance plan and I was told my loan would be submitted for a modification. I have sent in financial over and over again with other supporting documents. I have never been denied. I contacted Countrywide to request a workout plan to help save my investment property from foreclosure. I gave them all of my financial over the phone & they stated that I have a deficit every month. I agreed due to the fact that this is a two family home and I recently lost both tenants due to lay offs. They told me once my income changes call back. I told them that it is taking me a bit longer than usually to rent my apartments due to the foreclosed board up that are in my neighborhood.
