After running 450 km, on dated 13th Feb. 2011 when I was alongwith my family out of Delhi, there was some sound from the engine of the said car at an unknown place which was 45 km away from Disst. Santander took over my auto loan from Triad/Roadloans in January 2010 without any notice or communication. I had stop receiving payment statements as well. In February ’10, I filed for chapter 7, but excluded my auto loan and continued to make payments. In July of ’10, I received a phone call from a repossession agency notifying me that my car was being repossessed. I bought a second-hand car from a local car dealer who assured me that I was getting a good deal. He basically guaranteed that ALL his cars were in tip-top shape with very little maintenance needed after purchasing. He named many happy customers and as he is an established name in the community, I trusted him. What a disappointment. To date, the car has cost me R3000 with a further R3000 necessary just to make it roadworthy and safe to drive. On January 21, Jessica (the woman who answered the phone) failed to enter the correct number of days for safelisting and I was towed. After filing a complaint with the BBB and contacting the HOA, Patrol masters finally sent me "copies" of their citations they claimed they issued - a month and a half after I first asked for them. When making a purchase using a Visa or Mastercard Id is not required as long as card is signed however Adams Auto Parts seems to think they can rewrite the terms of service in which they agreed to with visa and mastercard services and on several occasions denied my purchase because I would not let them use my license or any other ID.This is a clear violation with Visa /Mastercard and opening yourself to ID theft by anyone at NAPA who has access to any records ...who knows where this info winds up maybe thrown in a dumpster out back where... read full review »

I took my Kia Picanto in for it's 60 000 km service, on Tuesday 1 March 2011. Chantelle phoned me to say that the clutch needed repairs and it would cost aproximately R6000.00. I then informed her that I have a maintenance plan. Surely they need to check these details before phoning a client informing them of what is wrong on their vehicle. I went to the gas station mentioned above to get cigarettes and $5 bucks of gas. I at the last minute decided to get some candy for my husband and I. I told the cashier I needed a pack of marlboro light box and $5 dollars on pump 4. Since she was to concerned with her conversation with her friend, she didn't charge me the gas. My wife's 2006 Santa Fe has had brake problems which were supposed to have been fixed by Smart Hyuandia. When I went to pick it up for her, the brakes were still "mushy" and the brake pedal would go to the floor if you continued to apply pressure to the pedal. I asked the "service advisor", Danny, about that and he told me that the brake pedal going to the floor was "normal" if you continue to apply pressure. When we demanded they save the parts, they placed them on the back floor boards which then had to be detailed. SMKia then proceeded to triple the estimated amount we had been quoted; when we raised a fuss about that, it was quickly discounted $100. They charged me 3 times the blue book value, charged me 25% interest, required $2, 000 down, and still sold me a lemon. i bought a 2007 Suzuki forenza from a Suzuki Chevy partnered dealer ship at 11300 N Florida Avenue in Tampa Florida. I was assured it got 33 mpg (it gets maybe 20 if that) and was under warranty at the time. I wasn't really sure about buying it and after a day of test driving it i took it back.
