MY cab was supposed to pick me up at 7am on February 17, 2011 but did not show up until 7:33 at the fault of the dispatcher. Took my truck to Stanley Chevrolet at 5697 W. State Rd. 67 McCordsville, IN 46055. Asked work to be done on power steering. Was told problem was bad alternator and battery. We made the mistake of giving the "finance manager" my credit info so they could run a credit check. The next day I found out that they had simply given the info to 6 different banks who ran the credit independently. Six different reports. Have purchased two VW vehicles with strong recommendations from other customers. Had the 2003 VW Beetle looked at for slipping between the 2nd and 3rd gears with a VW Dealership in Dayton, OH. They estimated the cost of the repairs for a new transmission would be over $6000, more than the blue book price of the car. The internet pays off, I was going to replace my engine in my S10 xtreme thru a GM dealership. Had some work done prior by a mechanic at a private shop and something was dropped in the engine and not removed. Had the dealership verifiy this as the engine was knocking and to replace and install was going to be $4300 och!!! It is to inform that I have booked a gas cylinder ( consumer no. 43 ) on 24.01.2011 after 15 days from the receipt of last cylinder.Today is almost 25 to 26 days from the date of booking and till date I have not received the cylinder as it is almost 40 days gone. Automotive Edge sold me a ford van that was recently return by a friend who had took in to be fixed 3 times or more. The problems was over heating. They say they sell only quality cars. I am just writing because I have been having very poor fuel economy on my 2009 Honda Civic LX since the Day I got it in September, 2009. The EPA fuel economy estimates are 25 MPG city; 36 MPG highway; and 29 MPG average. My car gets 22-24 MPG in the Winter, and about 26 MPG in the Summer.
