My car is a 2008 Mitsubishi Evo X with only 5000mi on it. Their mechanic took my car for a road test off the business premisses without my permission or consent and against what we had just discussed. 4 miles later there is a rattling noise from front left. I also had in the car's console cash and a wallet with credit cards, which I had not removed since I did not expect such a road test. Stay away from West Chevrolet. Years ago when Charles West started the business they were reputible. But this is no longer the case. Go to Beaty Chevrolet or Delamr Haynes for a GM product. We puchased a 2003 Deville from Heritage Cadillac in February 28, 2005 and we were given the packet to file later for a $1000.00 rebate. We have fulfilled our end of the obligations and received a confirmation postcard for Consumer Cash Rewards dated Ocober 29, 2008. Hello I went to TMD Automotive to have my drive shaft fixed on my 97 Toyota they said it was fixed I paid them 2500 dollars cash (should of gave them a cheque I know) Within one week it fell apart completely. I called them and they said they were to busy to have a look call back in the morning. I called several times and went around to the place a few times. I went to get my window tinted from The Tint Depot on 25MARCH09. I had been referred to The Tint Depot by another window tint shop because they did not have their tinter available at the moment. Represented a 1970 Pontiac GTO front endura bumper as properly restored for $2450.00 plus $400 truck freight shipping. Upon removing the bumper from the crate there was evidence of cracking in the primer. Sanding of the primer revealed a heavily cracked bumper that was never "restored". A very thick coating of primer was applied over the bumper in order to hide the cracks and circumvent the laborious work that would have been needed to properly restore the bumper. We went to Pars Cars on false advertisement of people with bad credit can purchase a car for only 14.9 interest rate. i found auto repair warranty online and i found they are based close to my town. i purchased warranties for myself and my son. we both have jeeps and the price and coverage was exactly what i was shopping for. My sont used his warranty before i did and let me tell you, i've never dealt w such down to earth people. something with his 4 wheel drive stopped working. we got it towed and early the next morning we got it authorized and he got his jeep back the next day. we've dealt w other warranty companies from the internet and by far auto repair warranty is 5 star. i'd recommend this company to anyone! read full review »

Quick oil changes used to cost $17. At SpeeDee it starts at $34.99 and they charged me and extra $12 for extra oil and a "special" filter. I drive a Toyota Rav4 which is a very popular car but they did not have the courtesey to tell me about the upcharges. Their lame excuse is that oil costs $5.00 a quart which is a blatant lie. This was bulk oil, not synthetic. Oh, that would have been another $40.00. The best part is that it took 65 minutes to do this service with the tech taking time to talk to his girlfriend, order lunch and then eat it while I waited. I purchased a 2006 Ford Mustang GT from Henry Curtis Ford in Petaluma CA. In the agreement I signed, they were to put racing stripes on it. They sent it to Maaco on Commercial Ave in Santa Rosa and they did a really poor job. The stripe edges are not smooth (poor appearance and thick rough edges), there was dirt in the paint (rough), they didnt sand it (will start chipping within a couple of years) and there is overspray all over my rims. I reserved a car with a estimated quote of $37.49/day for 2 days. When I picked up the car, the cost was going to be $385. When I questioned the amount I was told by the agent that it included $200 which would be credited to my card when I returned the vehicle. When I returned the car and got my receipt, the receiving agent told me that the $200 would be credited directly to my card.
