I bought furniture from Thomasville in Feb, 2008 and have no payments no interest for 1 year, but if you don't read the fine print and don't pay it off in full by your promotional due date - by the way they send you a bill after your due date has passed, you have to pay all of the interest you have incurred for an entire year! Willshire Credit bought my loan from Mortgage Lenders Network in Febuary 2007, they notified me on the 7th of the month that they are taking over. In the, mean time I had already mailed my payment out. Then since been mailing them there payments. They cash my checks each month then try to foreclose on my house. We purchased a home in which the sellers provided a Home Warranty through American Home Shield of Florida (AHS). We had a problem with our air conditioner and the warranty company (AHS) sent out an air conditioning specialist to investigate the problem. I joined a movie site for a 3 day trial for $1.00 on 17 March at 6:13 p.m. On 20 March at 6:26 a.m. I canceled subscription and received a confirmation that my cancellation was a success. Wow, I find it interesting that this company has 159 complaints on this board! Like you guys I too, fell prey to the 5 for $5 "special" from Seattle Coffee Direct. This company is a fraud and a scam. They give you a sales pitch on the phone and then their entire aim is to get your credit card number . Once you give your card number, they tell you that it's non refundable. I thought they were going to design a website for me and drive traffic to my sight. We never went through to design the website, I was told it was a scam, so I cancelled immediately after getting off the phone. Far as I'm concerned, Capital One Canada is a rip-off company big time. I got one of those pre-approved forms, went online filled it out. Capital One Gold card on the site said 19.85 annual interest rate. My statements show 25.9%. Calling I was told that this was until November 2009. Way I see they are misleading, misrepresenting, and false advertising to the public on their site and what they get away with it? When I called they said they only took out $2.99 for CD and had no idea who took out the rest of the money even though they all say "grant one day" on the bank statement. I attemped to get an account with Grant One a Day on 2/21/2009. The site would not run properly. Via e mail I contacted customer support and they responded promptly. I still couldn't log in. As expected the 1.99 fee came out of my account. 4/4/2009 i get my bank statement with 94.89 on 3/2 and 94.89 on 3/30 being pulled out from them to my suprise.
