Everglades University, a.k.a. Keiser University is an online scam pretending to be a revolutionary online college. They are a for-profit school, and are not accredited. They represent to you on the phone that you can pay as you go and set your own schedule, but actually will bill you for an entire semester regardless of how many classes you actually take. This can be around $6, 000 dollars. Even if you withdraw from a class, they will continue to bill you for the remaining classes that you do not take, and then turn your account over for collection years later ruining your credit history. This organization has got to be the biggest rip-off going for students who have a real interest in educating themselves. The staff is mostly foreign and make it very difficult to understand important medical teminology. I was an adult student looking for a good, sound, accredited college/university to complete my college education at. Schools in Noida, Gaziabad are not following the Admission processes as in Schools in Delhi. The admission process should start after 1st December in all schools simultanously and the 1st shortlist should be annouced by 1st week of January. the 2nd list should be annouced by 1st week of feb and 3rd list by 20th feb. This school is bad. There are many unhappy clients and former/current students. I have witnessed first hand the damage the owner of the school has done to students and clients. This is a hostile environment. The owner is a racist person whom has a tendancy to be violent and physically intimidate students. 2 year ago (2007) I have taken a Reliance Prepaid CDMA at haridwar (uttrakhand, India) connection after submission of proper documents. The telcom service provider company Rellaince has disconnected the outgoing & incomming calls without any intimation. One of the customer care executive told that the connection is anoteher person use this connection for the same ID, this is just like befooling the innocent customer. In search of a tutor for my son, I did an engine search and found an on-line tutoring service named tutor vista. I signed up for the trial service that was 49.00 and then billed at 100.00 monthly. they made great promises of being available 24 hours, you can use a headset and talk with an actual tutor for most subjects. I enrolled in Kaplan on May, 28, 2009, started my class on June, 10, 2009. I have a B+, above average and 3.30 GPA. I know that I suppose to receive a disbusement every term as long as my grades are above a C average.
