I was given this as a gift, a stocking stuffer, by my grandmother and she does not keep her reciepts so there is no returning it. On first glance, the unit is nice and appears to be well designed. I bought this camera 1.5 months ago but it was never delivered. Their business plan is obviously designed to suck people in on a low-priced item and then require them to call in for "verification of purchase". This was a ploy to intimidate the buyer to buy many more products such as insurance and other accessories. Back during the early part of October I packed a PlayStation3 on Layaway. They don't give enough information on what their insurance covers, They said that it covers even lost cell phones, which is a fraud. They ask for a police report and recent cell bill. But after all that process that takes more than 3 days to receive a response from them since their only Phone number that they give is you leaving a message, and they never calling back. I purchased a 65 inch Mitsubishi projection tv on 11/06/06. It was delivered to my home on 11/10/06. So far, I have had 2 parts that failed within 13 months of this purchase. Authorized repair shop in Istanbul said Nikon stopped making parts and I should search around for parts in independents. I ordered a product that was presented as "in stock". Shortly after refusing to buy any accessories with the product I received and email that it wansn't in stock and to wait 2-3. After the time passed I received another email saying it wouldn't be in stock for several more weeks. I phoned in and was told it wouldn't be in stock for several more weeks. I called back and ordered the product and an over priced accessory and was told it would ship next day for delivery in 3-5 days guaranteed. I purchased an Alienware Area-51 M5500 laptop in 08/07 for $1628. I have now been officially getting the run around from customer service. Here is my problem. I bought a tv at Circuit City and bought into their $300 off the tv if you signed up for direct tv. I was on the fence about doing it and was very hesitant. I asked the rep if there were any charges or fees, i.e. installation, etc... He assured me there were ABSOLUTELY NONE other than the monthly fees. My $2000.00 television is literally falling apart. I purchased the extended warranty to cover any problems. The manager in the Reynoldsburg store told me she was not going to do anything for me.
