We have a Hitachi model 50v500a television and a couple of weeks ago the color went to red and green. We tried to adjust the color, reset the color, went to the service menu and reset the set... all to no avail. Now we are looking at a set that looks as if it was photographed with a heat sensor. This is the second unit that has failed owing to poor design: The cable between the charger is too thin, and breaks where it enters the strain relief (joke) at the body of the charger. Vodafone and Nokia say this is because of wear and tear, and take no responsibility, but the charger never leaves the socket into which it is plugged in. The diagnostic of my broken computer was not done properly. I was given one correct diagnosing (burned out video card). But also I was told that my OS is not working. I was ready to order more services from the store (such as OS installation). I came home and realized that the OS is working. This is regarding my purchase of an LCD TV from MDG Computers store in Whitby, Ontario. On May 29th, I took delivery of a 40" LCD TV from MDG and when it was installed I noticed that there was a bright red dot on the bottom right hand side of the screen, which is categorized as a "stuck pixel".
