Worked at the Jewel Radio station owned by Evanov Group, as a Sales person for 8 months The first question I had for them was Sales Rep turnover they said something like 9 sales people in 3 years of operation, the truth was 42 sales people and 9 sales managers. The reason for the high turnover is they have so many ways of not paying you, and they have a layer working full time in the Toronto who makes sure you don’t leave with a cent. We resevered a party room in April at 4 Brother's Restaurant in LeMars, IA for our father's retirment party in December. When we arrived they had given our party room, complete with champagne, to another group of people who came in for dinner 2 minutes before we walked in. The owner acted as though we had no business complaining. He said "If it's a really big deal, let us know." We let him know 3 times and he did nothing. Food was late & had no flavor. Paid $230 for several multi-year disney magazine subscriptions. After several months I called to check on the order. At this point they said one of the magazines was no longer available and gave me a list to choose another from. I decided that I just wanted a refund. I have called a dozen or more times and actually got them on the phone twice. The second time they said they would have their refund person call me back. That was over a month ago and now they won't answer the phone. If you give these people your money you will never see it again. I bought a copy of Microsoft Office 2007 for $79. I downloaded the software with no problems, entered the license key they provided with no issues. the product ran fine for a couple of weeks until the products (Outlook and Word) complained that the license I was using was not valid. I ran the Microsoft validation tool for Office 2007 and it reported that I had an invalid license. Customer support tried to help, but they finally gave up and so did I. They were unable to let me download a book that I had ordered and charged to my credit card. I went into my account and changed the credit card and ordered another book and downloaded it successfully. They were unable to explain why it was happening and how to remedy the situation. I made 2 calls with an average wait time of 20 minutes each. they could not or would not even cancel the order that was not downloadable. Their automatic telephone system was not user friendly. Actually, there was NO FRAUD nor problems with the transaction from DRIWww.element5.info. I was startled when I saw an unfamiliar name in my checking account and a large withdrawal. When I did a Google search of the company, DRIWww.element5.info, I realized that it was a purchase of software I had recentlymade from Wordfast, a vendor who used that company to handle purchases of software. Did not realize they were signing me up for a membership until they billed my credit card for two additional charges I did not approve. One was for $1, the other for $9.95. I have since cancelled the membership and now must work on getting the charges reversed, if possible.
