This company installed our brand new air conditionor wrong making the compressor go out prematurely, it lasted only 3 summers. They refuse to stand behind their work past the 2 year warranty, which is not even long enough considering the cost of air conditioning repair. They wanted over $1300 for compressor repair and said there's no way to prove that the failure was caused by anything they did or did not do, even though a brand new air conditioner lasting a mere 3 years would lead anyone with half a brain to know the unit should last longer than that. read full review »

Our bathroom sink and utility sink, in the basement, were both over flowing whenever the washing machine in the basement, or the shower on the second floor, was being used. I had Duct Doctors in The Colony, Texas come to my house in January, 2010. They promised a substantial savings in my electric bill by adding insulation and also recommended duct cleaning. I had both done. Their incompetence has caused About $20, 000.00 in damage to my house and heating/a/c systems. Note to Buyer's: I have purchased windows from this company. I paid a small fortune for my products. They imported my windows and door from Germany. They now are making their own products. I did a little research and found out, they are using the same tests as they did when they imported. With a little cut and pasting, they were able to pull this off. City power cut my electricity without any notice. Post office delayed my account and although this is not an excuse, not all of us have time chasing up on accounts. The story about them cutting power after you are a month or two late is a huge lie (answer to previous similiar complaint). My account was 100% up to date. In 2003 we renovated our home and had to have alarm installed in order to get home insurance. I chose ADT due to their supposedly great service and reputation. After having to replace many batteries over time, and after replacing them, we had to test the units to enusre they are working properly, our ears flew off from the nasty sound. Jason Arzola is a conartist & a rip-off. He goes out to homeowners to do an estimate and charges them way over the going prices for what needs to be done. He asks the homeowners to give an upfront deposit which should be 10% of the estimated price by law and he wants a 50% upfront deposit. And after receiving the deposit down from the homeowner he will not show up to do the job or he may start the job and not finish it and run with the money. Also I reccomend that you go and visit Coastal Handyman Services in San Diego and review the compaints on this so called Contractor. I am writing on behalf of two elderly neighbours who had a mattress delivered (cost: £35.00) on Saturday, September 11 at approximately 1430hrs. If you are looking for an Architect for your home addition or remodel...keep looking because Edward G Molter is not a good one AT ALL. He comes off as a nice guy in person, but once you have retained him by giving him a sum of money...everything changes. He will rush you off the telephone and then send you incorrect designs with a complete disregard to the location of your plumbing or any structural concerns there might be with your home. American Kitchen Refacing does not honor or abide by its contract. April 6, 2010 they were contracted to install a granite counter top and shelving unit to support the countertop. They did a good job up to the final installation of the granite. When first discussing what type of edge for the countertop a half bull nose was picked, but then they showed us an Ogee edge and the contract was changed to that edge.
