I spent over $2500 on a Viking Ice Machine (actually it's a Marvell Ice Machine with a Viking logo). I've already had it repaired 4 times for a total of $13oo including replacing the bin thermostat ($360), replacing the compressor, evaporator-heat exchanger and valve ($470 in labor, the parts were covered by warranty) and replacing the drain pump ($388 just for the part which I replaced myself). Very unpleasant experience with these people. Be sure to have the salespeople put everything in writing. First, the mattress set was delayed for days. Then, when they finally did deliver it, it was not the same as the one in the store. To make a long story short, we were told we could get a full refund, then they reneged and said we’d have to pay a 25% restocking fee and a pick up fee. Furniture was delivered in the evening. In the morning we could see the couch and chair did not match. We called that morning to inform them. They refuse to replace either piece to match. Then two months after we used the furniture, the stitching came out on the couch at the bottom. Only two old people use it--us! I purchased a Bravo Maytag Electric Dryer. Because of space limitations I need to have the vent exhaust come out the side, not the back. The seller (Lowes) does not provide installation services for the dryer VENT. I called Whirlpool/Maytag - response we do not install the dryer or the dryer vent, period. No guidance. Of the 27 QUICKSTYLE Laminate floor ''Reflexion'' 8mm boxes I bought at Home Depot 'Beaubien' (Montreal North) on November 1st, 2010, 11 had defaults. Their terms & conditions states that they reserve the right to replace the damaged product withing 30 calendar days or refund in full. I purchased an extended warranty issued by Banker's Warranty Group on an LG refrigerator. It has been 7 days since the repairman was at the house. My natural gas heating bill was high, though I keep the thermostat below 65. Money's tight so I gritted my teeth and paid. I ordered from Insulation4Less. Quick and easy online ordering and fast delivery. I purchased Prodex Total Insulation. Prodex was very easy to work with, it went up very fast and easy. I insulated the walls on our 30x40x14 pole barn. Hugh difference in temp!! 10-15 degrees F outside while 60 degrees F on the floor and almost 80 Degrees F at the ceiling.
