They make promises and do not keep them. I was promised so many things and have been asking for 2 1/2 years and have been getting the run around. Ira Woods & Sons has failed to ship a 6.5" Shun Classic Nakiri kitchen knife ordered more than 8 weeks ago. The original ship estimate on irawoods.com was listed at 48 hours. I ordered 4 iron bistro chairs from St. Simon's Beach Rentals. The chairs depicted on their website were the same as iron bistro chairs sold by Horchow.com. I purchased a Lifetime 7x' storage shed online from HomeDepot. Not only were 6 parts missing but several parts were the wrong sizes. I have a 5 year old tractor which has a plow to remove the snow. The engine transaxle belt broke. I went to sears in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. to get a replacement belt for it. The building has been under construction as renters move out for the last 2-3 months: now the stairwell is being worked on . Workers are here six days a week - week days until after 6pm, Saturdays at various times. Have all LG appliances in our home. All are less than 3 years old. First the fridge water lines broke and leaked, after having it fixed we began to use the water again only for it to break/crack again 1 month later. Have since turned it off. I have a Defy fridge which I bought 3 years ago, In August 2009 the fridge section started not cooling, while the freezer section was working ok. When the bed was delivered this Saturday they forgot to insert the support pieces for the bed. I phoned and asked if this should not be inserted at the time when the bed was being assembled. My wife and I purchased a Kenmore front loading washer and dryer from Sears on May 17, 2010, in Rochester Minnnesota. In January of 2011 the dryer stopped heating. A service call was made, and the technician discovered that the thermostat(heating regulator) was the wrong model. How was this not caught in production? Seargeants Remodel (ServiceMagic) aka JustinSchonna Huber have a remodeling scam. We have payed them over $8, 700 to tile one bathroom and one shower. The contract called for them to replace soffits, flooring, ceiling, etc. I realize they drag work schedule to collect payments (draw schedule) and then when you press them for time table the run. Not to mention the quality of work is poor. They alledge to work for Sadler Homes, a large high end builder. One of the workers wife apparently works there.
