i am seeking clarification with regards to meat products sold at coles. Today (10/7) i purchased diced lamb to have as part of a casserole for dinner that night. On removing it from my fridge I found that it was best before today (10/7)?!? naturally coles was closed by the time I realised so i didn't have anything to eat for dinner. meat is one product which cannot be flexible with regards to its best before date. The managers are rude, and if you expect any help, well don't. I asked for assistance as I explained to the Manager because I had just come from the Vet and had a dog in the car. I was the first one to the cash register, she would not sell me the perm I had picked out because it was professional, I had to go pick out another. Bought the Joy Mangano trendy tote luggage in March for trip out west in May. As soon as we got to the hotel, the lining came away from the luggage. Within 2 days, the handle broke. Tried to call the toll free customer support number and always had to leave a message. Was told to complain on line. I recently placed an order for thermogloves from this company. After taking my money via Yahoo Stores they sent me an email that the goods were out of stock. They did not give any indication when the gloves would be back in stock and asked if i wanted to cancel the order. Shopping cart software should know stock levels so how come the order went through? When i queried their practices and failing to advise an estimated delivery time they cancelled my order. Hiden cancellation fees and they don't tell u all the clauses when u sign ur contract. Then they keep doing unautherized billing from any information u give them. Call at weird hours of the day. There staff never know what their doing. I bought a pair of Columbia Titanium Omni Dry Zip Off pants in June 2011. It is now July 2011 and the threads attaching the back pockets to the pants are breaking and will have to be resewn. I noticed after buying and wearing them that the workmanship (made in Indonesia) was terrible and should have returned them however it was the only pair. Zip off pants are difficult to find this summer. Dress did not fit right but when I called to return it I only got an answering machine that said they would return my call within 24 hours. I was terminated by this company by accusing me of fraud when no such thing existed. They made up a reason to fire me and did not even discuss the issue with me before deciding to terminate me. I was on the phone with a customer and because the customer never terminated the call I was accused of fraud.
