On 4/12 Direct TV Inc. inquire on my credit report when I did not give them persmission to do so. I have never had their service nor do I want it. To go one step more I have work for the Cable Co for over 15 years so why would I want their service. I got the "free" CD and so far I am $197 into the negative because of the $49.50 they pulled from my account. I tried for 2 days to get a hold of a real person there - I finally did - they can only refund $20 of it. I'm going to follow the advice here though and file a fraud alert. We too feel like we've been had! They are indeed "Implying" that the card is a Credit Card that can be used anywhere. This may help some of you who feel as we do, that we were scammed: If you paid the $89 fee with a bank debit card or a credit card, you can call your bank or credit card institution and dispute the charges!!! I bought a Sleep Number bed 4 yrs ago (the dual control type). I noticed I started waking up with terrible back pain and it took me a while to realize it was the bed and that even at the highest air level of 100, it was in no way firm or supportive enough to support or conform to my spine.
