1time do not allow cancellations! Their discounted rates are not worth the risk! The policy is not made clear on the web page or in the contract (my point of view). I am R2700 out of pocket. I was robbed on April 19th. My car was taken from my garage and things of value from in the garage. I contacted AAA within a hour of finding out I was robbed. Initially, my boyfriend and I booked Hotel Sandos Caracol but decided to change to a different one after a fire burned down 2 of the bars. As soon as we found out about the fire, we contacted our agent, which took us forever to get a hold of. When we finally reached her, we expressed our concerns about the hotel. My mom has worked for this Motel for over 20 years. She has never once companied about going places for meetings or classes. Now this regional manager comes in and says she is not doing a good enough job for them and fires her. Seaside, Oregon, Motel 6 manager, Lee Judson, put my disabled, senior citizen wife and me on his Do Not Rent list simply because I complained about a substandard room and possible evidence of bedbug infestation. My family was scheduled to take Delta flight from LAX to HNL on 5/18/07 at 8:15AM for our Hawaii vacation. We were at airport 40 minutes before the departure time. My son in law and daughter and there two children saved to take the girls to Disneyland. They checked in to their hotel and the carpeting was wet, it was shampooed before they checked in they have a 10 year old and a 17 month old. In light of global warming it is disgusting to see the Greyhound buses idling hours on end. I live behind a Greyhound bus station and there is a big sign in the station's window asking the bus drivers to turn off their buses. This does not always happened. The continuous idling disrupts my sleep and the exhaust filters through my windows often setting off my fire alarm. They called me at home to tell me that I WON a trip to Orlando Florida and all I had to pay is $398 dollars. I was unsure that I should give my credit card over the phone. After finding a travel agency to book travel for 21 members of my family, I learned about BookIt.Com. In the end, I booked my immediate family of 7 through BookIt.com because they were able to get a better rate. The other 14 members stayed with the other travel agent. I wish I had too. I travel occasionally by KSRTC (Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) and it was a welcome relief that they started offering online booking service (www.ksrtc.in). However its sad to see that they have absolutely no customer service contact (no telephone number and email id for refunds bounces back!). When boarding at Gatwick I was charged twenty five pounds because my luggage weighed 5kg over the maximum weight of 20kg. I find it completely unfair that there was no pre-warning of the maximum weight. There were several other passengers who were also forced to pay charges and whom were all also unaware that the maximum weight of luggage was just 20kg. We took a membership in December from the marketing executive called Deepa. She used to call us everyday to take membership. Now after we have upgraded the membership and we have already paid half the amount we have still not received Allotment letter. She never picks the call even if she picks she tells she will find out and call back. It is more than 2 months she has called. I often book e- Ticket throw' KSRTC online website and travel within site. on 09.04.07 i booked one ticket and while booking transaction could not complete after release of payment from internet banking. It again happened on 28.04.07 twice. My complaint is against poor response from KSRTC and Secondly there is no icon for refund of such failures. Visited the Suite Hotel in Rouen in March 2007 with my 83 yo grandparents. When we arrived the hotel wasn't finished there was no parking, even though the website boasted secure on site parking. The best that accor could offer was another of their chain of hotels for £300 extra! I travel by bus between the sector chennai - hyderabad at least twice a month. My preference is GARUDA services from Imlibun which departs at 8pm. My journey on 1st may is the most horrific travel I have done in recent times. The company is Travelosity and Yahoo Travel. They get my vacation plan to Disney World all screwed up and I cannot cancel or change the plan. Hold times for hours - I was told at one point the hold time was 4 hours. I was on hold for an hour on one phone - switched to another - got someone who was not authorized to help and then put on hold for 1 hour before I hung up both phones. Staples and H.P. ripped me off... on the purchase for a computer bundle in 2004. The offer was for a "rebate" of $ 100 dollars. They couldn't locate anything pertaining to my purchase... but sent me spam about my new computer. I blocked their site from my computer and will never set foot in Staples' store again, as far as H.P... the computer has been very reliable but doubt if I will ever purchase another H.P. product. As I was showering, (6pm) a woman from management came in the room without permission, and claimed that she was changing the towels, even though there already was enough. I came out of the shower, and she ran out the door. She was not in a housekeeping uniform. I saw her go back to the main office. It was clear that she tried to steal my bike.
