1time do not allow cancellations! Their discounted rates are not worth the risk! The policy is not made clear on the web page or in the contract (my point of view). I am R2700 out of pocket. I feel I'm a victim of false marketing.
I will be more cautious next time I reserve tickets with any airline (this is the first time I have ever had a need to cancel).

I bought a Peugeot 407 Coupee from Peugeot Menlyn in Pretoria South Africa on 2006/07/26. For the first six months my experience with Peugeot was a pleasant one.
On 1 March 2007 the vehicle had to be towed in top the dealership. I was informed the problem is a faulty catalytic converter, and that the part had to be imported from France, with a lead time of approximately 3 weeks.

Kentucky Fried Chicken - Nigel, Gauteng, South Africa
I went to buy Kentucky and to my disappointment they had a mash and gravy shortage, so I had to order something else. I then ordered 2 streetwise burgers; it was so distasteful and dry.
The burgers were made with ordinary buns that you buy in shoprite, because they had a shortage of the normal small buns as well. The buns are so big that you don’t even taste the piece of chicken-patty and mayo in between. I thru the burgers in the dustbin. They should wait until there is stock before they continue to sell the streetwise burgers again.

I am a contract subscriber to MTN South Africa. Over the last six months or so I have tried to get the attention of the 808 help line; each time I was informed by a computerized voice "All our consultants are currently busy...". Four or five times I had to hold for over 40 minutes, eventually either to give up or have the line go dead. I wrote to MTN about this sort of service delivery but no reply has been forthcoming. 1) All door handles are stiff and cannot be easily opened
2) Boot stiff difficult to open
3) Oil leak on light wires
4) Panel switches – hazards, demister, etc not working.
5) Radiator fan doesn’t go off when engine is switched off but if you turn the engine on and immediately switch it off the fan switches off.

I purchased this vehicle with good faith thinking that i would be trouble free because it is brand new. At 1000 km i complained to royce love nissan (rossburgh) durban that my bakkie had a vibration and i was told that it could be the propsahft. At 15000km the bakkie was taken in for a re-ring. Then i had a problem with the brakes ,the rear brake shoes was not fitted properly. At 30000km i complained that my bakkie was taking oil. Test were done and i was told that the vehicle needed to be taken in for a re-ring(second) again.

Below are 2 emails sent firstly to AEG in Germany to which no reply was received, and then secondly the email to the AEG Head Office in Johannesburg, South Africa. I also faxed the correspondence to AEG South Africa to ensure that they received it. I have had no reply from either (Fax or email). Nokia Repair Centre - Johannesburg
I took my phone on 3 occasions to nokia service centre in woodmead, Johannesburg.despite this my phone was never repaired properly.
Since the woodmead repair centre closed down I took it to the mtn service centre at the glen and after more than 3 weeks they did not even repair the phone.
I am supposed to keep this useless phone from nokia without it being repaired despite it being under the manufacturer’s warranty. read full review »

My contract was up for a possible renewal with mtn. I went to mtn the glen to renew my contract. I chose a nokia for business which i returned to the outlet within 48 hours. i was not happy with the features of the phone. in fact my personal view was that the phone is over marketed and the features were exaggerated. The outlet was not prepared to listen at my problem instead they disregarded my complaint and raised a lot of unjustified issues which i was never alerted nor do they exist in my contract. I bought 2 x160c color fishfinders for my local boat shop . I have used them 5 times and every time I use them the screen goes blank . You have to switch it off and on again than they work for 20min and same problem accours . I have two fiat palio Eds. Which I am repairing my self; I have decided to repair were I can. I am obviously not a mechanic I would not sell them because of the thousands of rands I have been RIPPED BY NISSAN /FIAT t during past five year service. I think I would loose.

I have two cell phone contracts with Flexicell who were extremely quick to offer me the reduced airtime contract but sad to say are not that quick to attend to after sales customer service. My only contact with son is via this cell phone contract and as from last week Thursday to date (6 days) this contract is still not in operation.
Total dissatisfaction with their service, each time I phone, I obtain another operator who dishes out even further sales nonsense. I most definitely would not refer any one to Flexicell and am seriously considering terminating my two contracts with them. read full review »

In the beginning of July 2005 we bought a lounch suite from Rochester Furnishers in Strubensvalley Roodepoort. Their policy is 30% deposit and then they order the furniture to be delivered within 8-10 weeks. When I phones to follow up I was told that our lounch suite already arrived on the 24 August but it had a tear in the one seat and that they have send it to the dealer in Johannesburg to be fixed. When I phone 3 days before my set was suppose to be delivered I was told that the set is still in the warehouse with the tear and that the manufacturer will collect it only tommorrow and that I will have to wait another 2 weeks if I am lucky! read full review »

In August 2005 i renewed my cellphone contract and upgraded my phone with an new advertised model - LG M4410. Within two or so month of having the phone the battery started giving problems.
Ok, this one can expect could happen. So i try to replace the battery. To my amazement i cannot find a replacement battery for this model of phone anywhere. I even went directly to LG South Africa Head offices in Capetown and Jo'burg. They don't have it.

I bought a car at Renault Germiston in March 2006. The car instalment was R999 with a deposit of 10 %.
When I approached the dealer I was told that I need to put in a deposit of R16 000 to qualify for the R999 monthly instalment. I then put it a deposit of R16 000. A pre-paid motor service for the car was issued to me which was valid for the period of 2 years or 45 000 KM.

On the 26 Dec 2010 i started having problems with my phone, Blackberry. I had then then taken my phone in to get fixed. Not very long ago, the “engine-problem” light in my MERCEDES came on, at which stage I drove the vehicle directly to Rola Motors to have it checked.
The computer could immediately trace the problem and an engine-part had to be replaced. I think the cost was about R20’000. Initially I was told I will have to pay 40%.
