The HSBC personal banking customer service in the UAE is dreadful. And that's being kind. When things go OK (e.g. internet banking) it's fine. But when something goes wrong it is hopeless. Trouble is, no one senior in HSBC is listening and meantime the customer service team cover up for each other passing the buck from one to the other. Since 30th Oct, 2010 I have personally visited Etisalat to report them that i have shifted to a new place, next to my old building and i am existing customer of E-life and i want to do the transfer. I bought htc smart at recent Gitex 2010 at Dubai from Jumbo Electronics. The product is totally a failure. No clarity of voice, frequent system disruptions, system held, dialing problems, sms problems, very difficult to use. I cant expalin how pathetic this product is. I have been using Standard chartered Bank since 5 years and also have a salary account with them. I took a loan by converting credit limit of credit card into cash. I had agreed on auto deduct of installment every month and deduction of final outstanding at end of term. At time of last payout, although there was enough balance in my account to clear out dues only minimum due was cleared by bank on due date. Then almost 3 years back I transferred my current account to ADCB bank, resulting, ADCB bought out all my dues/loan from emirates bank .
