I used a generic scan tool and the code was P0340 -- the camshaft position sensor malfunction. I put a new crankshaft position sensor and new spark plugs and wires and ignition coil. The ASD relay and fuel system is working properly. There is just no spark and the motor has 65, 000 miles. read full review »

2006 Ford F-150
ForJesus2 June 28, 2011
I purchased a 2006 Ford F-150 with 9, 177 miles. It was owned 4 days when the accelerator stuck in 4-wheel drive in reverse and rammed my son's house trailer -- destroying both. I went to the dealer and they refused to do anything even though I had purchased all the warranties and paid cash! He said he was not going to do a darned thing about it because he did not build it. My son lost everything, as well as, getting injured. Has anyone had a similar problem? read full review »

VACATION PROPERTY RENTERS BEWARE. Do NOT give your money to this person. To date she has thousands of dollars of deposits and even pre-payments in full for a vacation rental property that has an expired lease with the property owners. She has left innocent people high and dry with no place to stay and their money gone. She has no ability to repay the money due to people and is avoiding all attempts to contact her. If some research is done on the web, there is much more information available with some digging. You don't have to take this web page as sole proof. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GIVE YOUR PERSON YOUR MONEY. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED. read full review »

We bought a car from them and from a week after we bought it things were going wrong. They are suppose to cover any engine problems well they told us to put a new thermostat in it ourselves when it started to over heat. It was jerking when put in gear, and when you put it in reverse it did not want to do it you had to really give it gas to get it to go backwards. First told us they would look at it, then said they couldnt find anything, it left us sitting along side a busy interstate. While parked in our driveway in 50 degree weather, the rear window shattered. There was no object thrown into the vehicle. It was simply thin glass exploding due to temperature. GM transmissions
Mike Lewis June 28, 2011
I have a 2001 Chevrolet Impala LS that I purchased new. At 40, 000 miles of easy driving. The transmission went out and cost $3, 000 to replace. I did NOT go with a GM remanufactured transmission. There were no updates from GM to upgrade the weak internals for this transmission which has had known weaknesses for years. My advice is to not buy a Chevrolet Impala. GM won't give you any grace if your transmission fails after the warranty period and there are too many people having problems with these transmissions to take your chances with one. read full review »

I was on my way to Florida, when my car started to hesitate and stall. I called a tow truck. The tow truck driver informed me that the nearest Volkswagen Dealer was over 50 miles away. He asked me if I would like to take the car somewhere else. I insisted that it only be repaired by a Volkswagen dealer who knew how to repair my car. I left the car with a Volkswagen dealer in North Charleston, SC, for a week to be diagnosed and repaired. They stated that it was the timing belt that caused the problem. 2000 Chrysler 300M
fedup June 28, 2011
At 46, 000 miles, rack and pinion failed - no warranty... so my expense. The emission system was faulty which they did cover under warranty. The next problem was with a shifting cable which failed while I was vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC. I made it home but had to pay out of pocket for a new shifter cable. The latest problem is that the power window is failing. I am told this will cost $300 for the repair. My car has 83, 000 miles on it and has cost me a bundle out of pocket. Chrysler doesn't care about its customers and won't resolve problems. read full review »

I have taken this truck in 4 times now because of parts that Ford knows are going to go out. The first dealership worked on it twice and didn't fix the problem. I had to take it in again and the cost was $1800. That should of been done correctly the first time. A second dealership said that the first didn't use the right parts or the right oil. The problem was the differential. read full review »
