Two years ago we purchased a laptop from Best Buy and also bought the extended service plan. There are three practices of their billing system that increase the likelihood of its customers making late payments. This increases BofA profits but ruins the credit of its own customers. 1. The Third Watch DVD series that seen me was useless. The package was damaged when it arrived. One case inside was damaged. Of the DVD's I looked at and tried playing; one was scratched, one wouldn't play at all, and the audio wasn't with the video on two that I did play. I recently had my hair colored at Zoran's hair salon in Manhattan, on Lexington Avenue (bet. 47th & 48th). Before I even sat in the chair, I asked how much it would be. I visited the Regency Furniture Store in Largo on April 12,2007. I saw a bedroom set that caught my eye, so I put the set on layaway. The set was a 1,300 dollar set. This is an internet business called Privacy Matters (www.privacymatters.com). Sometime in April 2 I tried to get what was called a "free" credit report. I ordered two quilt hangers. When I received them the knobs were broken-it looked like the knobs had been screwed on too tight and they had cracked right up the middle. The pieces were very crooked and rough to the touch. There was maybe one coat of varnish on the pieces (He said on his website he puts 3-4 coats on), and that was spotty at best. We booked a trip with BookIt to Cozumel Mexico. The have been given exclusive prices and have representatives at the Park Royal Hotel who help get you into a scam situation. Antonio, their representative told us to stay there and go to thier presentation. The hotel had Royal Holiday people all over you. I have never had any deal with the CIC Triple Advantage, but they charge membership/service fee from my Capital One credit card which I never authorized or signed any membership agreement . I called twice to dispute that charges, cancelled everything, and asked them to inform me. My last contact with CIC Triple Advantage was 4/14/2007, and their representative RAZ told me call back again next day, or Monday, because their computer system is out of order and he cannot help me. The Bluebay Club used very high pressure & deceptive means to convince me to sign a contract to buy one of their timeshares. The contact is clear that if I cancel within 5 days I will be refunded and money I paid to them. I purchased a land/home package deal in Kaufman County in November 1999. I signed contracts at the office of the gentleman selling the land portion of the transaction, who had me sign documents for the land and the septic system. There is possible hope! I have a complaint already on this webpage and have found that there is hope of getting a refund. I just put in the request today and have recvd an email from the company that I will be receiving a refund and I was provided a "ticket number" for followup with.
