Tri Clear
I ordered Triclear with the understanding I would pay $6.95 shipping for a free trial. I discovered a charge to my credit card in the amount of $69.95 instead. I received the product in damaged condition, leaking all over the inside of box. We were afraid to use Triclear, unsure of what had happened. I was shocked to see no return address information, nothing about customer service or where to send my return.
I later contacted Triclear's customer service and informed them of the problem. They offered to ship a new product for free and canceled my account, then instructed me to contact them in the event I wanted more... We'll see. read full review »

Vizio
Purchased a Vizio L30 TV from Sam's for $1,298.00. Remote control quit working. Sam's "repaired" it (said poorly soldered connections), lasted 2 months and quit again. Sam's has promised 6 times to repair it again but never does. Wrote letter to Sam's in January - they don't bother to reply!!! Purchased a new remote control from Radio Shack but need the proper code to program it. Vizio CANNOT come up with the code that will work with their TV.

I am so disappointed and enraged with Bally Fitness centers in Clovis, CA, after I got billed to my credit card over $77 dollars monthly for 2 months. My contract expired on 12/28/2006. However, they have On the back of the contract papers and after my signature a cancelled point that allows them to continue billing me without notice after the contract ends. This is so unfair and I feel robbed by them.

Domino's Pizza - Santa Cruz, CA
An employee of Dominos Pizza in Santa Cruz California told me that my pizza would be at my door in 30-45 minutes. I called one hour after it was ordered and told them that my pizza had not arrived. I then called 30 minutes later, and finally my pizza arrived one hour and thirty minutes later. They told me that there was a new driver. On 1/14 I went to the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Bowling Green, KY, and ordered a sofa, a loveseat, a dining table and six chairs. Then they delivered all the items on 1/25. Two weeks later my account has been charged without authorization for $149.95 for merchandise that I have not ordered nor received. I have filed a dispute with my bank and would like an immediate credit for this charge, as this is causing much financial burden to me as I am on a very limited income, as a single mom with two children.

I received a collection notice for $279.55 for a Verizon bill from 12 years ago. I replied to the notice and was asked for personal information such as drivers license or passport. This bill was for a phone number I had never had, but the notice was sent my current address.

Do not buy from this company! There is no way to call them and they have not responded to email. They advertise there software as being able to download any TV program etc. They don tell you it is very possibly illegal and beyond that it downloads extra programs that you do not need. I bought this at Sally's, followed the directions, and assumed that what the product promised would happen would actually happen.
This product was supposed to bleach out selected strands of my hair, giving me highlights, then simultaneously color the strands (purple, in my case). This did not happen. After following the directions, I had bleach blond highlights, but no color. I wasted ten bucks on this product.

Afni sent me a supposed collection notice for a supposed phone bill from 13 years ago when I supposedly lived somewhere on the mainland. I have lived in Hawaii for over 15 years, so this was a falsely billed collection. Further, they "demanded" a copy of my current driver's license, Social Security card, and passport picture!!!

Background - I originally ordered a Gene Simmons Family Jewels DVD box set for $5 based on a posting from www.slickdealz.net (none of this is their fault, it was a legit post) and awaited delivery. After several weeks, nothing. I followed up and they eventually admitted that it was an erroneous post on their website and they wouldn't honor the order. On 02-16-07 my Netspend card was lost when I went to the atm. Within minutes I realized what I had done and was on the phone to Netspend to cancel the card.
It took them a very long time to help me because I did not know my card number. Finally I was told they would cancel my current card and after I paid them $9.95 they would reissue a new card which I would receive in 7 to 10 days.

I called to place my order for stair parts, because I needed advice. Their "specialist" assisted me and ordered handrails that were too small for the balusters. I was told by customer service that "since I had confirmed the order, there was nothing they could do". Their website lists the dimensions of the handrails as 2-1/4"X2-3/8". On July 6, 2006, I ordered a one year subscription to People Magazine. I received a confirmation email for the order and seven months later, no magazine. I have sent numerous emails and received numerous excuses as to why the magazine hasn't come but is definitely on its way. This company offers 3 bureau credit reports online but fails to deliver. Although my credit card was billed immediately, I was unable to access my report over 3-4 days. I was subsequently told I needed a "Private Access Code" to verify my identity, which could only be sent by US mail, although they managed to identify my credit card pretty quickly. In July 2006, I bought a HP Pavilion laptop through Circuit City. A couple of weeks ago, the screen goes dead and I take it to Circuit City who said they did warranty repairs. Well that means they send it to HP.
And there's the problem. For the last week, they have LIED at least twice about the computer and until yesterday (2/23) I couldn't even get an answer to the question -- Had you even opened the box?
