We had been shopping for a new washer and dryer for quite some time. We decided that we liked the Kenmore High Efficiency washers, but were waiting for a good time to buy. When we went to the store on June 10, we were told about a rebate program happening in the store that day. Consumers would receive a gift card for 10% of the amount of all purchases on June 9 & 10. Received voicemail from very rude man at Academy Collection Services. Tried to return their call and couldnt get an answer so I called their direct line not their 800 number. Talked to a woman that wanted to know the collection guys name (he didnt leave it). I asked for a collection manager several times. Was finally connected to a man that answered 'May I help you?' I insisted on his name, and got "Chuck Ferguson" from him before he asked me to hold and hung up on me. My complaint is from a consumer point of view. I recently purchased a pack of Marlboro mediums and over half of the cigarettes in it were short on tobacco. One was over a quarter of the way empty. I have been a Marlboro smoker for 12 years and don't want to smoke anything else but this has happened a couple of times to me now. Is there anything that can be done about this to make it right? We bought a Maytag Performa a few years ago, maybe 5. For a couple of years now it has continually gone off balance and strangely it does not shut itself off like the other washers we have had in the past. Bang, bang, bang until you get to the washer. $40 cash back Gas rebate was promised when I agreed to look at the info. When info was received gas rebate card was not enclosed, but I was told that I had to apply for the Gas rebate card online. When I attempted to access the site on line, the result was that there is no such website. When I called to advise them that the website could not be accessed, they told me to add: form.html instead of: /40form to the end of the logon site. The website was still not accessible. I received just this morning another shipment of pills from this company after telling them to stop and also telling them the pills made me violently sick! The first shipment came after ordering a sample from them, then having my bank account number, they were able to withdraw 149.95 from it! What's in the pills anyway? I received several phone calls on my cell phone and finally told the guy to remove my name/ph number from his list and he laughed and said I couldn't do that....I hung up on him. Ever since (approx 5 days) I receive calls from the company from 800-266-9420 and noone is there. They call about once an hour. I tried calling that number to complain and the call will not go thru. I want that dang company to stop bothering me, I'm NOT interested in what they have to sell. The other day I needed to talk to TurboTax support for help taking advantage of a online discount through bank of America. At the start of the call they ask for your name and email address. That took 12 minutes. They could not listen to the letters I was saying, and say it back to me. My email address is short, 8 characters. While watching TV one evening an ad came on to order coffee machine at a reasonable price. However when I was ordering via telephone - no live person to speak to - I changed my mind because the coffee for the machine was too expensive - so I stated to cancel the entire order. You buy a bed, you have no payments no interest for 1 year, but if you don't read the fine print and don't pay it off in full by your promotional due date - by the way they send you a bill after your due date has passed, you have to pay all of the interest you have incurred for an entire year! I bought a Black Widow Scooter from the above company as a Christmas present for my son. The scooter basically fell apart on Christmas Day. Among other things, the seat broke off when my son was riding it, and he fell and was injured. I recently tried to order a cell phone from zoom cell. Upon submitting my payment i kept getting an error message. "Address does not match" my order never appeared to go through and I never received confirmation. I was sent to this company for non-payment of books I did not receive by Scholastics, Inc. We have lived at this address for 26 years. In 2006, our 2005 tax W2s were sent back to our employers. This caused an extended delay in our tax refund and subsequent plans for vacation. In addition, I confirmed with several other companies that our mail, although properly addressed was being returned. Do not use Sears Home Central for any home repair work. I contracted with them for an air conditioner in June. The unit was installed after the promised time on the contract which is not actually the complaint. They promised to obtain the necessary permits which was never done. My uncle had the same problem with them when he had a furnace installed. It has been 6 months and we still are without a permit. I am writing about my experience at Dr. Vaxmonsky's office, located inside Lens Crafters in Prince George's Plaza, on January 28, 2007. I am complaining about the “new” BP Card that I was coerced / mislead into getting which replaced the traditional gas card. The new card is a Credit Card full of fees. After 1 late pmt (over Xmas) when mail was late, they reported us to the credit bureaus. My husband and I rented a Uhaul truck to move about 25 miles on a Sunday. About 3 hours into having the truck, we noticed that a rear tire was flat. (We had been loading the truck during this time, so we did not notice it right away.) The whole Virgin Mobile Top-Up phones sounded like a great idea for a daily usage with a plan for $ 44.99 giving 400 anytime minutes and unlimited nights and weekends. It all started about five months before my father moved out of his rental due to it being sold. I ordered office supplies in August from Office Max - enough to last me for a while. When I opened an Office Max brand Remanufactured Ink CXartridge in December, I soon found it was defective--no yellow ink. This company is an online fitness equipment store. They offer what seems to be this great money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with an in home 30 day equipment trial, etc. I ordered a treadmill, was talked into a shipping upgrade that I didn't need and then the treadmill was a piece of crap, noisy, squeaky, and when I moved it found plastic shavings and rubber dust apparently from parts rubbing or grinding on each other. I purchased this TV in March of 2006. I had a service problem with it two times. I contacted Sony after troubleshooting. I was told to take it to a Sony service dealer. At the end of September, my wife and I had Verizon broadband installed. Since then we have had many recurrences of the same two problems: not being able to connect to broadband and being dropped once the connection was made. Hello my name is Aaron Munoz I purchased a SIMMONS BEAUTYREST mattress from The Room Source furniture store in 2004.
