I took out travel insurance with insure and go on the 27th july 06, and was due to travel on 8th august 06. A year ago I purchased a Logitech keyboard that CompUSA advertised for $5 after mail in rebate. I followed all the directions and completely filled out the rebate form with mailing address (which is a PO Box because I live in a small town that will not deliver mail to my house) and street address. I purchased 4 appliances from Home Depot in Biloxi Mississippi to repair our Hurricane Katrina damaged home in Long Beach Mississippi. I bought some of them on clearance. I paid for them and when I came to pick them up a week later Home Depot had sold them again to somebody else. They then offered me lesser appliances for the price of the reduced ones. Had them tear off and put on a new roof 2004, fired salesman day work to commmence, no-one in charge and no-one spoke english, botched job. Back 5 times to try and fix. owner steve smith full of promises. For all you credit card haters out there, I have a good one for you. I signed up for a Home Depot Credit Card run by Citigroup for the promotional $25 off your first purchase. My wife and I opened an account at this bank a couple of weeks ago. We reviewed the banks funds availability and felt we had everything down pretty well. Boy were we wrong! We made a deposit through the ATM machine. The receipt showed the amount which became available and we took the bank at it’s word via the receipt. I have a Sears Kenmore Elite H3 Washer that has a moldy smell. The rubber gasket smells and I have wiped out mold from underneath the gasket. I have called Sears and Kenmore without any help. This is a petty amount, but it is still fraud and needs to be reported. Explore USA took, without authorization, $1.00 from my bank account. This account was empty at the time, resulting in an overdraft. I have no idea how they got my bank account number. A few weeks later, a very nondescript envelope came. It looked like junk mail and was nearly torn up. Now it said I was a MEMBER of this Explore USA and they were going to charge my account $19.95 per month for something. Well, they can't! Purchased an elliptical trainer, the NordicTrack CX 998 on August 20, 2006, from Nordictrack.com. Finally got a delivery three weeks later. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe new in 2001. I also bought a years worth of oil changes. There was, and still is, an intermittent problem involving the lights. The lights go off by themselves while driving. We bought a Whirlpool gas oven/range for $1,200. Within the first 16 months, we have had five major repairs for the same problem (over overheats to super high temperatures and then shuts itself off, error codes E2 F3 or E0 F2). After multiple attempts to disconnect Bulseye claims that if they don't have a disconnect work order number they will not discontinue my service with them. I recently got a box of vitamins for a dollar to try for thirty days. It wasn't even thirty days, they already charge my account. I called them to cancel but the representative said she could not do anything about it coz they already shipped a three months supplies to me. In 2004 I overpaid my Shell gas credit card by $200. Shell sent me a check for the same amount while I was in Indonesia, working the tsunami disaster... Consequently the check was voided (90 day limited). Note: Shell does not honor, like most businesses, a plus balance on an account.
