Ross Dress For Less
November 30, 2006
It is so painful that I have to write this, for I love the products at Ross, but the shopping experience is all but pleasant. No matter what time of day you enter some of their stores, especially those in Florida (I have shopped Ross from Ocala to Pembroke Pines and Miramar) you will find floors littered with merchandise, broken items on the floor, empty drink bottles on shelves left behind by angry shoppers. I think their patrons tend to treat the store with the same respect they feel management has for them. The staff is neither... read full review »

US Bank Cash Deposit
November 30, 2006
On Sept. 28 2006 I went to make a cash deposit to Ladue branch, Saint Louis, MO. I wanted to do it through a real person but branch was already closed so I decided (wrongly!) to do it through ATM machine. I had 10 $100 bills to deposit, counted number of times at home (it was a wedding present from my relatives). I made a deposit at Thursday night and next day, as it usual with cash deposits, it was posted as available on my account. Next week, Tuesday, I suddenly see that this deposit was reversed and $600 was posted, plus $2 fee, to my... read full review »

Rancho Banderas
November 30, 2006
Rancho Banderas Resorts time share sales personnel will use any means necessary to make a sale. Extreme high pressure sales techniques, and making fraudulent statements to complete a transaction deceived me into making a very bad investment decision. The timeshare proposal to me was solely a rental investment income, not proposed to me at all as a vacation time share. It was totally pushed as a great, proved, income producing investment. The investment income is not going to be the thousands of dollars as promised by the salesman representing... read full review »

Luxury Auto Transport
November 30, 2006
I paid a premium price to have my classic California Highway Patrol car to be shipped enclosed from California to Oklahoma. The driver for Luxury Auto Transport was caught removing my car from the truck and abusing it while showing off during a stop in California. It was damaged and not able to run on delivery to Oklahoma, thereby costing me $500 more in towing and repair. They refuse to reply to 15 emails or to return my phone calls and try to make this right with me. I suggest anyone interested in having their car transported across country... read full review »

YourMusic.com
November 30, 2006
On 10/9/06 I placed an order with Yourmusic.com for 2 CDs (#YM002921395), a Vivaldi and a Telemann disc. On 11/10/06 this company then charged $12.98 on my debt card for the 2 CDs. A day later the Vivaldi CD arrived. However, I never received the Telemann disc. I complained to Yourmusic about this state of affairs by email through its complaint division on 11/15/06, and followed up with a second complaint on 11/21/06. I received an email notice from Yourmusic a day later after each complaint acknowledging receipt of my email and a prompt... read full review »

Bridgestone Tires
November 30, 2006
I purchased 4 Bridgestone Dueler AT tires 245 75R 16. The tires have approximately 20,000 with limited warranty of 60,000 miles. I have taken them to Sears where they were purchased (Tires Only) not exactly the same store. I spoke with three different managers and was told to come back three different times to speak to these managers. None found any deficiencies with the vehicle suspension or any related vehicle parts that can explain the wear spots on two of the four tires, I have routinely rotated them and have kept them always in the proper... read full review »

DigitalExpo.com
November 30, 2006
I ordered a digital camera on the web and when I had finished it said to call to confirm the order. I did and the person asked why I had ordered a refurbished model instead of a new one. The website never indicated it was refurbished. When I told him I didn't want a refurbished one and to cancel it, he hung up on me. I now have to worry to see if they charged my credit card. They never responded with an email saying the order was cancelled. read full review »

1st contact (binding estimate) stated any additional cubit feet would be billed at time of pick up. It failed to disclose that the charge was 3 times more than the pr cubit feet charge of the initial estimate. I selected mover packing. Contract stated packing supplies were additional. After the pick up was loaded the charges were disclosed at Rolls of Tape $15.00 a cardboard box $15.00 and 4x4 bubble wrap $15.00 totaling over 750.00 in materials because packers used excessive amounts of packing material. Gas Grill from Sears
November 29, 2006
Purchased a new gas grill from Sears in Norman, OK on a Friday September 15th for $499. It would not fit in our Explorer so we made arrangements to return the next morning with a PU truck to pick up the grill. Upon arrival to pick it up we noticed that they were loading a crappy beat up grill, and then the employees lifted it by the side burner, which promptly broke under the weight. I told them to unload it we did not want a beat up broken grill for $499!!! The store then made a deal with us to take delivery of their floor model which they... read full review »

I have a major complaint with Comcast digital voice service. Last month someone called into them and impersonated my wife, gave our home number, address, and had our phone service disconnected! It has taken me several months to list this complaint, as I wanted to give Eileen the opportunity to be fair. She has chosen not to, and is motivated by money. In November, 2004 I purchased a female blue point ragdoll from Eileen Pickett. In March of this year, she (Teia) began having seizures and I took her to the vet, where the blood work showed 1,400 titer for the FIP virus. November 27, 2006
Two years ago, I purchased a brand-new Maxtor DiamondMax 160-gigabyte hard disk drive. Today, the hard drive has failed. Maxtor is under no obligation to do anything about it, since the product had only a one-year warranty. This is the classic case of a product breaking down as soon as the warranty expires. The problem is particularly annoying, since the failed product is a hard drive, which has my important data on it, which I can no longer access. Is two years the industry standard for the life of a hard drive? I think not. I have... read full review »
