I bought a used Landrover L6 in 2007, very low kilometers and loved it. The warranty ran out in January 2010 and then in February, I was driving on the highway with my son and the car quit. My sunroom was installed in the latter part of 2004 but the roof has leaked continuously ever since. I had Ultra's local dealer send his installer to repair this problem in 2005 at which time he re-caulked the roof. I had to call again in 2006 and again in 2008 (after I contacted Ultra to intercede for me) and again a month ago in 2010 (6 inches of rain in just one pail). I purchased a brand new Maytag front loader washer in July 2010. In October the machine broke and the part has a backorder or 164 for Canada alone and is not expected until mid December. I needed eye surgery done with Bochner Eye Institute and Bochner offered me that if I go with the Medicard finance program they would let me pay the total amount cost within 12 month period without any interest added to it. So in February 2010 I purchased the Amana (Whirlpool) stainless steel fridge. In August 2010 I came home from a weekend away to find the entire contents of my freezer defrosted with about $100 of food that is sent to the garbage. I was unsure if this was something that I had done, or the fridge and made the MISTAKE of not calling for service. I unplugged the fridge for about 30 minutes and then it was fine. My husband filed an EI claim in June. Somehow there was a type-o in his mother's maiden last name, so they denied the claim. He then spent half a day at the EI office to prove he is who he is. By August 29th, they managed to change the status of his claim to 'new information'. It is now Nov 16th and the claim has STILL not been processed, despite numerous phone calls and office visits. I recently had my truck oil change with Lube World, During an inspection of all the truck fluids I was informed that my rear axle differential fluid needed replacing, I said that it had been done May of this year, but according to the mechanic from lube world it has not been changed for a year or two. Hi All, My home is only 9 years old and I have a lot of curling, rotting, and blistering going on. It's a BP Citadel 20 yr shingle. Four roofing companies who looked at my roof call it "pre mature shingle deteriation." First warranty claim was denied of course, now under 2nd claim review after I paid an inspector to write a letter to BP. They will probably deny again. Bell Canada has repeatedly ignored my requests to have our number removed from their call lists. The last supervisor I spoke with informed me that they have numerous call centre locations and that they would remove my number from THEIR list, but that I may still receive calls from other Bell call centres. My number is listed on the National Do Not Call registrty and regardless of my requests, they continue to call. Bell needs to stop the ridiculous marketing ploy of multiple call centres and honour the do not call request, since it has been requested verbally at least 6 times, and is on the do not call registry. read full review »
