Purchased a Maytag front load washer from SEARS in July 2005. There was always mold forming in it and a swampy stench, but thirty six months later the computer board went due to the moisture. It seems once you've paid for an item, being unfortunate enough to receive it in any state at all, is all that Sklar Pepplar / Alberta home interiors needs to wash their hands of the transaction. Recommend to ALL that terms of full payment should be conditional, based on receiving product not in a damaged or incomplete state and certainly not for a 'promise' that the factory will ship out replacements ASAP. We wished we had seen this great Website prior to renting in this unscrupulous building called the Beresford @ 1221 Homer St. The Management company actively advertised the suite for one price but when it came time to sign the paperwork, they arbitrarily changed the price stating it was a "mistake" and, by that time, our moving arrangements were already underway.
