I worked as doctor at balwant singh hospital but ultimatly i escaped from there with the grace of Jesus and my good luck .It was just like a bad dream .How to exploided indian workers till they die, some one have to learn from them.In my short stay the C.E.O. and director dishonoured six doctors and ten nursing staffs, all were indians.They don't have dare to touch local staffs and blames indian workers for local staff mistakes.Even they withhold salleries for three, four months. All healthcare professionals and staffs from India, Beware... Its very easy to get a job in Guyana at Dr. Balwant sing's Hospital Inc. located in Georgetown. I am just one person who escaped from their trap an exploitation. I am a healthcare professional who was offered a post in the hospital a year ago. I was really excited and thrilled to be in South America with least or almost no interview and screening procedures. All you jobseeker !!! Attention please !!! If you happen to get any job offer from Dr. Balwant Singh's Hospital Guyana then must not accept the offer as they are never true to the clauses of the contract that they send you. You may always be subjected to such stressful working conditions that you may always want to run from them since the first day but again you will be at there mercy to get ticket for which you may have to pay a hefty amount. How can ALETHA ROSE Shepherd represent Guyana in Miss World 2010 when she is not Guyanese! Her mother Rose Shepherd (who is the father) not known on the birth certificate and is not born in Guyana either. Does that mean if you are black you can enter Miss Africa because our distant relative might have been Kunta Kinte from “Roots” ALETHA Shepherd is not a good representation of the Guyanese. Dear friend, I was employed as specialist doctor with Dr. Balwant Singh's Hospital Inc. Guyana in the year 2005. In the begning they were good in getting visa from the Guyana High Commission, New Delhi and sending the flight tickets. They promised housing and facilities. I was told that I will be paid for the on call. They recieved me from the airport and treated me good for the first few weeks. Then they showed their real colour.
