First mistake: I purchased a $$$ Whirlpool Water heater from Lowes. I paid an electrician $$$ to install it. It did not work. We placed it back in the box to return it to Lowes. I recieved a letter with a fake check for the amount of 2, 950.00. The letter was telling me that I had won 250, 000 from a drawing because I was using my debit card. I called the number on the letter and the lady told me to deposit the check and then to call them once it was in. I brought the check to my bank because it looked suspicious and they definately said it looked like a scam. So I called the bank where the check came from and have the numbers and they said it was a BAD check. the letter said the sweepstakes was located in Washington but was the Portland Oregons head office. 1st Verizon wired my area for FIOS and no longer sold DSL in the area. I was required to purchase FOIS at the higher cost if I wanted Verizon. Fios required rewiring your home for fiber optic. I did so and bundled phone and direct TV for 99.99 per month plus taxes. Fois includes either MSN premium or Yahoo Premium w/ free virus and spyware. Fairpoint takes over. Called and spent three hours with local techs on a thursday eve at the end of which the rep said I have to call Dell because it is a problem with their software. my vechile was drailed part way into the automated car wash. We were stuck inside no one came to help, I honk for a few minutes still no assistance. I was able to back up over the rail enough to get my 5 year old out to safety. my vechicle is still party stuck in the car wash with it still running. My Peachtree Windows are/were a joke! The windows in my kid's room were so bad that their room was literally 10 degrees colder than the rest of the house. The Windows in my downstairs were so bad that when the wind blew it would make the shades move and the frame was delaminating from the panes of glass!
