Purchased new home with Kenmore Elite refrigerator model number 106-52603100 in Sept 01. Every appliance in our home came from Sears. We have had nothing but problems since them. I have been told by another rep, the first one hung up on me, that I can get a refund by providing a tracking number but only for part of the product; and, they charged me more than they stated they charged. They have a very inticing and professional looking website and offer an email password hacking software for $499.00. They even give you an 800# to call them to get information on their products, when you call it, a recording comes on like it is going to connect you to the next available customer representative and no one ever comes on the line. Trade Capital (TC) is a licensed lending institution that promotes a variety of personal and business credit building "tools." Based upon their advertising on their website (in which I have in JPEG format upon request), if I signed up for their Deposit Loan Program, they claimed to report the account to Experian and Transunion. I too ordered the 'free trial' with payment of $7.95 shipping, which was charged to my bank account on 11/25. I have yet to receive the product, and my bank shows a $149.90 charge that is to be processed on Monday (12/15). I am going to contact my bank to cancel the charges, including the shipping. This is all well and good, but since this might adversely affect my credit score/rating, I called and asked for a reduction in my APR which is a ridiculous 24.75%. On July 6, 2006, I ordered a one year subscription to People Magazine. I received a confirmation email for the order and seven months later, no magazine. It started on December 1 or 2, we took our gateway computer to computer genius to have more memory added and they said we needed a new mother board at a cost of $ 243.93. when we got it home and booted up it seemed fine. Vanguard, "the people's mutual fund firm" has made it astonishingly difficult to roll over IRA funds from another institution into Vanguard. That their standard IRA rollover forms stipulate a "guaranteed signature" at the end (but which isn't really required, as I discovered after I called a Vanguard rep several weeks ago), was just the beginning of the roadblocks. "This is not a Pack and Ship Store", after standing in line for 20 minutes with 2 packages (one which split open on top, 3 inch area) I finally got to a male clerk. Above was his reply when I asked for a small piece of tape to cover the split end of box (where my tape lifted). He said we sell tape at the other station (at least 10 people waiting at that station.
