This is the complaint I filed with the BBB.. At the end of June, 2008, I contacted Mr. Richard Thompson of Rich Landscaping and Design by phone to arrange a time for him to come and investigate a problem I was having with my pond. He agreed to come out on July 1st. The evening of July 1st, he called and stated that he would not be able to make it. After summiting all the required paper work to the insurance sales rep, he fail to write a policy for my home insurance. I keep waiting for the deductions to show up on my check, but it never did. I call the insurance company only to find out that the agent never issue the policy causing me to loose coverage from my previous insurance that I let due counting on MetLife to write me a policy. They offered to help me find extra work in my area. I used my credit card to pay for the 1.95 subscription fee and they said I would receive membership materials and a log-on code in 24-48 hours. I have heard nothing from them and when I tried to e-mail them at [email protected] and it came up as not a valid address. My order confirmation # from them on 05/01/08 is 124112. I have since discovered that they have scammed many people and taken money from their account. Please don't reply to these scam e-mails, I have forwarded the one I received on 11th June 2008 to the Met Police fraud department. The e-mail said I had won £890, 000 plus but wanted me to contact the courier (Universal Air Courier UK) about the costs of delivery. The grammar and spelling was very poor which alerted me and made me realise the win is not genuine. I forwarded the e-mail to Camelot Lottery and they replied saying that it was not genuine and gave me a link to the Metropolitan Police Fraud Department. The actual shipping charges came to $13.90, which was two thirds the cost of the product. Their customer service department gave me a parcel post tracking number for my shipment which the U.S. Post Office said they had no record of! I am still waiting for the grass seed I purchased. My wife and I modified our loan in Dec. we went from an ARM to a fixed rate for 3 years. 5 months later we received a letter telling us our loan is going to be adjusted and our new payment would be $250 more. We nearly lost our house and it was like pulling teeth to get them to modify in the first place. We were so happy when they finally modified, but now they are going to try and be sneaky and make it adjustable again. I am going to be getting myself an attorney to fight these people. A One Dollar charge appeared on our debit card. This solitation was unauthorized and we do not want and did not request to be members of this service. The One Dollar charge must be removed from this checking account and this membership be canceled or we will take action with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. When we tried to do this by telephone, we submitted our home phone and it was recognized and we are not going to include our debit number, so that another charge could possibly be credited. i made a booking for a hotel in galway last thursday through this site but never received a confirmation e-mail. I received an e-mail saying i am now a member of the cheap hotels resort and can access my booking through the resorvations@cheaphotelsresorts with a password and my e-mail address. This did not work when i tried to do this. I rang the hotel in galway and they have no such booking in my name. When i checked my credit card the money was taken from it. My complaint is that many people with a lot of anger, some justified, some not, write in with their side of a story. Many people reading will accept their one sided story as factual, and this could damage the reputation of a business or person. How sad. Do not give this company your money or property or trust them to make payments to the bank for you. Several properties have been repossessed while under contract due to non payment from their asset management. You may loose all the money you have invested, or your credit will be ruined. I tried for months to locate a person or company to cancel the monthly service charges for a service I did not receive. I found a phone number (1-866-408-4016) and spoke to someone and was able to receive a confirmation number on my cancellation. We will see what happens next month is this works. On May 9, 2008, I ordered a part for my 3 burner grill. When completing the order I was given the choice of having the part shipped via FedEx Ground, which I chose. On May 15, I went back to the website to find out where the part was and found it had been shipped on the 9th, but by US Postal Service, not the FedEx Ground I had been charged for, and was currently in Ohio, according to the trace from USPS. I had a mortgage which was bought by Sub 500 Mortgage. I was late on two payments then caught up on those payments and was about to pay off my entire loan amount. Laura was our designer and she was always preoccupied, came late for meetings, chatted on and on about her personal problems, and often brought her children...who did not sit quietly and read!
