totally upset

performance customer service
I purchased an acer computer in Feb. 2007. The mother board died in 2010. Since it was out of warranty, there was no compensation given. I can see parts going bad or problems happening in three years time, but not the mother board. Must be very poor workmanship! I will never tell anyone to buy an Acer product.

Bad service
I called the technical support department to ask a question specifically about their netbook computer before I purchase one. The support person could not answer the question (even Costco offered an answer) but wanted me to call another line and pay for the reesponse. It was a general question and not a "fix it" issue. I called the company and asked for someone in Customer Relations. They have no such being. It has been a while since calling a company so large with so little customer service or even concern. I suppose I should take them off the list of companies to deal with. I can imagine if I had a problem what type of run around I would get from them.

Doesn't work/shipping cost
I never used Shopnbc before so I tried it. I opened up the screen to them and I ordered a Acer Computer. Went through everything put in Charge card hit enter. It
went in as I was exiting out I got a virus that shut down my computer and cost me $300.00 I was very upset and sent a email to your company. Of course I have not heard yet from you. Then I get thise computer for Christmas for my daughter and it doesnt work missing parts and I had to send it back. I was told that I would be reimbursed for the shipping sent it Fedex cost $13.02. I get an email telling me that my monies would be put back into my account and they charged me an additional shipping and handling charge of $9.99. I am now out of $300.00 $13.02 and $9.99 and $107.00 last but not least a computer. I will never shop again from
shopnbc and will let any and all that ask not to. I can not get anyone on the phone to talk with so maybe this email wake someone up.

Service center boycott & late response
Hi PIC,
I bought a computer on November 2007 from Acer Computer Singapore Pte Ltd.
Within 5 months the computer is having hardware problems and tried to call their service hotline but there was never any responses for over 2 months.
They replied my case via email but is always a few days later and boycotted the appointment without prior notice on 14 Jun 2008 (today), jeoperdizing my other appointments.
Please look into the issue and take necessary actions.
