Complaint
To Nodal Officer.
Hi Sir,
This is to bring to your notice about the worst nightmare that i had with regards to my airtel connection.
I have been using Airtel Postpaid for about 8 years and never had such experience and always i trusted airtel as it has got the best network and good customer service, but the pain that i have gone on saturday was the worst thing that could have ever happened.
Please find the details about the same:
I wanted to convert from Postpaid to Prepaid and i called customer care with regards to that and there gave me details that i have to clear my outstanding amount, unbilled charges, migration charges i asked them why there are charging 100 rs as i have been using this connection for long and there bluntly said that there will charge, then i asked to transfer the call to supervisor where one of the lady by name Vellora from escalation desk handled the call and told me that migration charges is refundable and it will get adjusted in the next bill which will come to you, i was happy with this info and i confirmed for almost 3 times with her r u sure and she said that yes its right info.
Based on above information i went at 5:30 PM on saturday evening to Airtel Showroom, Shivam Road, Hyderabad where one of the executive (i dont remember exactly his name was Sudhir) i asked him the details about the procedure and he said that follwing details to be given: Outstanding bill, unbilled amount, migration charges which he said its non refundable amount and i was shock on this and Rs35 for lifetime validity, i was shocked to hear all this, i asked him why are you charging 35 Rs he says for lifetime and u will get incoming, he spoke very rudely to me and raised his voice, if i would not have been educated guy i would have slapped him there as this is not the way he will speak to customers, sack him u guys will be benefitted. I asked him can i talk to someone superior he said as its saturday there is noone that too very rude.
I called customer care from airtel centre and one of the lady answered the call and i again has to tell her the whole scenario where she understood and immediately told me not to pay 35 rs for the bill, she gave a waiver for the same which was really courteous and also she talked to the guy at relationship centre and explained him.
Then this guy told me to go to the next counter and he will give me all the details about the amount i have to pay and again there was a shocking incident there this guy tells me to pay: Outstanding amount, unbilled amount, migration he again says its non refundable and also he told me to pay 55 rs for prorata rental, i was shocked i asked him why everyone is giving different info and this guy says thats procedure, but i have gone through the pain of my life.
Then again i called customer care and did not wanted to speak to any agent and told them to transfer call to supervisor Manoj from escalation department took the call, i again have to explain him the whole scenario and asked him why is he charging 55 now again?? manoj told me no we dont charge that amount and he talked to the person in relationship centre and explained him procedure, and there both entered argument that from backend team relationship centre was informed, what sort of crap is this??
Sir why do we have different versions 1 from customer care, 1 from relationship centre.
This is the shocking incident and the worst nightmare experience that i have, i really feel sorry for my self for using airtel connection for 8 years and getting this treatment, i was a long customer for you but though i have converted to prepaid i will not stay for long as i dont want to have these experiences again.
Please listen to all the calls on saturday that i made to call centre from 12:30-1:30 and 5:00-7:00 and you will get the version.
I was working as an Assistant Manager with Idea but never used that connection and the same story continues here.
Please look into this and i want the compensation for all the worst things that i have gone through and spoiling my weekend saturday evening.

grievance from a airtel senior customer
I am very disappointed with the service provided by airtel personnel.
I have been a loyal and senior customer of airtel.I am considering changing my current broadband connection
to some other service with more consistency and concern for their paying customers.
I have been under tremendous mental harassment regarding the inconsistency of email and phone correspondence.
There are many reasons for my current mental anguish. Airtel is not the only broadband service provided, I do have other options.
1.When I switched over the plan to 2mbps 4 gb plan in april.My speed got upgraded only after the plan changed.
I was under the impression that 4 gb for was from the day of the plan change.
I was not informed about at all about the prorated calculations.
I was under a huge shock to see a bill of 3665Rs
2.When I asked to be switched from the next billing cycle may 26th to 499 64kbps unlimited plan.
To my shock my speed is 64kpbs today.
I have email correspondence shown below stating that the update will happen in the next billing
cycle only, the mistake was on the side of airtel and to ignore the previous mail.
I was initially planning to switch my plan to 899 unlimited plan 6 gb at 4mpbs and 256kbps after that.
One representative advised me airtel was offering only 512 kbps upgrades to all airtel customer
and they no longer offer speeds under 512 kps.Under his advisement I opted for the 64kbps unlimited plan
in the thought it was actually 512 kbps plan.I thought the initial speed itself would be 512kbps.
Then I asked another personnel today he said the upgrade would happen by june 1st and another representative
said it would take till end of June all in the same day.I don't know when it will really happen.
Please forward this email to your higher officials to know the difficulties of your valuable customers.
I am going to deliver a personal letter to the concerned head and to make sure no other customer goes through the same
pain and mental stress I went through.Make sure all your personell have consistent and current information.

DEDUCTING BALANCE FROM THE AIRTEL SIM
Kindly look into the matter, regarding friend chat has been activated. I would like to deactivate the friend chat. And deduction should be stop. Sometime, we cannot call from this number. So, please rectify all those problems & stop deduction from my mobile. Number is 9771341557.

poor customer service
We are the corporate customer of Airtel for last fifteen years. The customer services have gone so bad that no action is being taken for repeated mails. Our request for detailed paper bill for ten connections is pending since NOv 2009, Inspite of complaining to Nodal officer, No action is being taken. They are still sending the bills to email id which have been changed by themselves. these people are so great that while updating their records the first word of our email id have been removed.Everymonth we have to complain to custmor care and they send paper bills to us which we never get. On every complaint, the executive says sorry..sorry and next time wont happen assurances. But for last six months same is being continued. We have to make the payment without bill or get the bill collected from the customer care.It seems Airtel is not able to take the competetion from other players and given up the hopes of any survuival. We are so much upset with the services that we are waiting for the number probabilty to switch over to other service providers. We have connections from tataindicom also. whereas in one complaint they have reversed the wrong billing charges themselves. In my opinion, Airtel doesnot stand any chance in the market with this level of customer service. There is no way we can contact their senior officers. No email ids are provided except the nodal officer on the website.

Mchq is dangerous
I topped up my prepaid for 333 Rs. I received 3 success messages from airtel and mchq. On checking my account balance i was surprised to see no credit. I call up the call centre for resolution only to find them harassing me with details that i dont have
Its a failed service...never use it...great ideas like mchq dont work in India.

Illegal charges
My Post-paid Connection No. 9967975301
I am forced to send this complaint to you as the circumstances are pushing me to do so, to be honest to you i am very upset about a few things.
1. I would like to bring in your notice of illegally charging money from my postpaid number by sending message for the services that I haven’t used from the phone. I received a message from num 54321 from airtel service at 3:57 pm on 20-05-10 "thanks for using AirtelTV subscription service from airtel. You have been charged Rs.15/-. Enjoy Games Club!
http://gclub.in " which i haven’t used or prescribed for. I again received another message from MobileTV at 3:57 pm on 20-05-10 "Thanks for choosing ESPN on Airtel Mobile TV. You have been charged Rs.15/- for 7 day(s). To stop service sms TV UNSUB to 54321.".
I called customer care No. 121 at 10:23 pm on 20-05-10 and the person responded was Mr. MIR, i asked him to register my grievance and kindly issue me a Complaint-Docate for future correspondence, but he refused to give the same and clarified that I had to pay the charges and he disconnected the call by saying " Airtel mein call karne ke liye dhanyavad". I was really upset with the attitude shown by Mr. MIR.
I called again customer care No. 121 at 10:31 pm on 20-05-10 lodged a complain, Mr.DEEPAK took the complaint and gave me the complaint number(: 689929111), just wanted to mention that i never subscribed the said service and the charges if added to my bill will automatically effect our relation.
2. Strict action to be taken against Mr. MIR who is of no use to your organisation and can only bring disrepute to such a big organisation.

New Prepaid number not working
To Airtel,
This is Vishal Rampuria, from Jaipur. I purchased a new airtel prepaid connection on 30th April from a retailer as Bees dukan, adarsh Nagar. My sim card was activated by retailer and given to me but it stop working in a day, message was displayed "Sim card registration failed" when i went to retailer then he called the back office of airtell suppliers, who supply sim to him, they told that this may be some sim problem and they suggested him to issue me new sim. Then retailer issued me new sim card and activated but again in few days it stop working and same message is displayed, "Sim card registration failed". When i went to retailer saying that same problem is coming then he again called back office and told me he will get back to me but and i was given ans. That there is some problem you have to get new sim issued for this number. When i went to airtel office they told me today system is not working come tomorrow and then i went next day they told me this number is not coming in system in your name. Similarly i was unguided at different stages by all different people who are sitting at a important seat of airtel. Till today my number is not working. It is more than 10 days. Today morning i purchased a new sim of same number and was told it will start in next 4 hours but still it is not started.
This is my request to Airtel that please look into this matter and try to solve it and compensate my loss of work.

i
myself ritika from sangrur, punjab. using airtel connection for more than a year and recharged it many times. today i got a call from an airtel no and the person claimed that the airtel number i am using is not mine bt his. how is it possible??
and plus he threatened me to block my number.
it is very ridiculous.
moreover some airtel's employee have, without my permission, subscribed to some stupid cricket news. previously my balance was above 450/- and now it has been reduced to around 150/- within a month bcz of this. from last one and half month they are sending these msgs . previously it was IPL news and now W-20. how to get rid of it??
