Erroneous and Unauthorized Billing
I ordered a free trial via the internet for this product, at which point I was told I would be charged $1.99 for shipping but the product would be free. I received a call about 3 days later where the company asked me if I authorized shipping, and then informed me that I would be charged $29.95/month unless I cancelled. I told him I wanted to cancel, and he said I needed to call and speak with customer service after I received the shipment, which I did. The woman informed me she would cancel everything and I needed to send my shipment back within 10 days of the cancellation or I would be charged 79.95 for the full product. Which I did. At that time I was not informed of anything else. Today I noticed that there were 2 charges, 1 for 6.99 and one for 49.99 on my card. I called the company again, and was informed that it was a seperate shipment being sent to my house for a different product, that I had not wanted/authorized. When I told her I wanted the charge refunded, as well as the 6.99 shipping, she told me that "like it or not" they had already sent it to me and I had to return it within 10 days if I wanted to get my money back. I asked to speak to her manager, and she told me the manager would say the same thing. She then hung up on me. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and have sent back all shipments from their company.
