No Delivery, Poor Customer Service
Im currently Forward deployed to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, so since I couldnt spend Valentines Day with my wife in the physical She hinted at an Edible Arrangement. I placed my order on 20 Jan 2011 with a delivery date of 14 Feb 2011 (V-Day), I placed it early for a reason, you know so it could get there on time. Now today (14 Feb) Its after her work hours and it still hasnt been delivered. I dont see how thats possible when the Edible Arrangements Location is less than 2 miles from her job. I am thoroughly pissed off as they snatched the money out of my account with no problem but they cant at least honor my delivery time? Ive called the local office multiple times before their advertised closing time only to get a voicemail box that was full. I had to call a 1877 number just to leave a complaint. So I say again thanks for ruining my Valentines day Edible Arrangements. Dont worry you wont get this chance again.

Poor customer service
This company has terrible customer service, I spoke to four different people and got four different stories as to where my order was. This was after I got an email asking to "grade our customer service." I was beyond pissed. I finally got in touch with the owner and she was just as rude as the staff! I had to call the 877 number to cancel the charge and that didn't work I had to dispute my charge through my bank! When companies like this go out of business I don't feel sorry for them one bit. I sent out a mass email to everyone I know in Navy and civilian world not to use this company.

horrible customer service/work ethic
EMAIL SENT TO HEADQUARTERS
As a longtime customer of Edible Arrangements I am appalled and disappointed in the service my sister and I received from the Rancho Palos Verdes location, store # 1164. My sister placed an order this morning between 10am-11am for our mother’s birthday and spoke with David. She confirmed with David that the order must be delivered by 3 (he promised between 2-3pm) and if he was NOT able to have it delivered by that time we would go a different route. David reassured her it would not be a problem and she went ahead with the order. By 5pm no order was delivered, no phone call was received. She called and I called and was told by David in a nonprofessional manner that “today has been a crazy day. This whole week has been very crazy.” And then proceeded to explain that per company policy an order can be delivered anytime between the hours of the physical stores business hours. Even as I repeat that to myself, it does not make sense. So if I place an order at 11am and was told it would be delivered between a certain times, it is a possibility it could be delivered at 7pm?
If that is true (I have never encountered this before) then David should not have promised otherwise. Associates make mistakes and if they apologize and find a way to rectify the problem then we could work something out. Instead he adamantly states he promised no such thing and they actually have until closing time to make a delivery. I called to speak with David who showed no concern or sympathy for ruining our surprise for our mother and he made me feel like this is an everyday occurrence. Was not helpful, did not apologize and actually made me feel worse! I asked to speak with the owner Hashin who basically is insinuating that the order is in place and has been set to be delivered before STORE CLOSING TIME. At this point my sister already cancelled the order. He offered to set another delivery and throw in a few “extras” but I really feel it was insincere and my mother was no longer at home to receive a surprise.
I have to be honest because that’s the only way I know how to be. This email will not only be sent to your company but I will share my experience with others. My family and I order from your company no less than 3 times a month at different locations. This was our first and last time doing business with this location and maybe with this company. I understand that the franchise is independently owned but there should be a code of conduct, a standard to withhold, and make a way to make sure the franchisee trains all associates in providing great customer service. As a franchisee myself for a different franchise I know we have to maintain the integrity of our company and store #1164 is lacking. I explained to Hashin that I will be contacting corp and I am not satisfied with his locations service but even then he did not show any concern. POOR QUALITY AND OVERCHARGED
I ordered an arrangement for $53, which is larger than one for $40. The one sent was old fruit, unbalanced as more fruit was on one side and the other side was empty in comparison and it was the size of the one for $40. To top it off, they overcharged my Visa. I contacted the business to site my concerns and received a nasty reply and was told to call my bank about the overcharge. No restitution was offered by the West New York, NJ store and I will never shop there again

Delivered order late, did not contact customer back upon inquiry
I complained about my Edible Arrangements order on Tuesday, September 21st because, my order was supposed to be same-day delivered to a person located at a business only about a mile from the Edible Arrangements office. I listed the delivery as a business, which operates between the hours of 9am and 5pm. I placed my order at noon, and, in the past, all orders I've placed, no matter if they were at 1pm, 2pm, etc, were delivered BEFORE 5pm. However, my order was still IN PROCESS at 5:45pm and wasn't sent out for delivery until 5:50pm. This wascompletely unacceptable. When a customer selects a location as a BUSINESS, Edible Arrangements should send out the package during general business hours. Since they couldn't comply with this request, the order was delivered around 6pm, AFTER my intended person had left, and was delivered to the WRONG INDIVIDUAL. The next morning the package wasn't in the office and obviously had been taken home by the wrong person. It seems that the Edible Arrangements delievery person didn't even bother to deliver my order to the person it was intended for, otherwise the basket would have been returned to the Edible Arrangements office. I demanded a refund on my order, 1) because it wasn't delivered during general business hours (which are COMMONLY known as between 9am and 5pm) and 2) because it was delivered but to the wrong individual without their delivery person even attempting to find the right individual. I sent in two requests on the evening of the 21st, but a week and a half later had yet to receive any word from the copany. This showed me that Edible Arrangements doesn't regard their customers in high esteem, and was incredibly annoying. To me, their lack of regard showcased Edible Arrangements' horrendous customer service, particularly because their company refused to even send an acknowledgement email to me after my first inquiry. This was such poor customer service that I will think twice about ordering again with Edible Arrangements.

Do Not USe This Company
I would recommend not ordering from this company. I used an online coupon code and when the order was charged to my card the coupon was not applied, even though the confirmation email confirmed that it was applied to the total. Furthermore, the product was never delivered. Poor customer service.

Poor Service
My son ordered me something for Mothers Day 5/09/2010 and I have yet to receive it on 5/11/2010. A delivery man called at 8pm on the 10th and asked my husband for directions to our house but he never showed up. My son doesn't know that I know anything about it so I didn't know which store to call until today when I called the closet one to our house and the store owner called the number of the delivery guy that called us and he told her he was delivering from another store just temporarily for mothers day. She asked him about our delivery and he said he didn't know what was going on with it because he took it back to the store and wasn't delivering anymore that it was only for mothers day business. Weird because he called and got directions from my husband. The store was closed so I can't call them until tomorrow. This not the first time something like this has happened. In sept 2008 my son tried to order something for my birthday and after 2 days my son asked me if I got anything from them and of course I did not so I called them and they said my son's card didn't got through. Well first of all they didn't even call him to tell him and second of all his card was find they had wrote the number down incorrectly so they did nothing. This store has very poor management and shouldn't be in business. I am also calling the corporate office to complain.

Completely AWFUL!!!
So I got my mother in law and my mom a very cool (and very expensive) edible arrangements. For those who don't know it's fruit cut, formed, and dipped in chocolate (some)
and beautifully arranged in a vase or watering can or whatever. My Mother in law calls and thanks me at 1;30pm. it's 5:00 now and other than this morning haven't heard a word from my mom?
So I give her a shout and she says nothing has come yet. Now I'm thinking if they haven't come by now (7:38) Than there not coming...Right? Oh no, they told me over the phone that
they have until 9pm thats right you're reading this correctly 9pm, 9:00, NINE O' CLOCK?? and they said if they don't don't show by then to call them and they'll try
to work something out-WTF Hows about we work something out now? What mother wants anyone showing up on their doorstep at NINE PM?? Even if it was Ed Mcmann W/ a check? (I'm sure she'd get over it quickly tho:)
I didn't bother to read about delivery times especially on Sundays seeings that the store closes at 2PM? So I wasn't all that worried.
I'm pretty livid and I don't get mad EVER! but they're Messing W/ mom on her day! Am I a bit of a mamas boy-Sure, but what son really isn't?
My point of the rant is...If she receives this delivery at 9, in 3 hours Mothers day will have ended. Even now I feel they kinda ruined her day! I felt bad because I had to work today
So last week I ordered a $139 worth of fruit. Now I feel even worse. I know it's not the end of the world and I'm being a bit dramatic but it's just bad business. Oh and I checked my order form online,
and in very very small print it does say "on busy holidays it could take up till NINE PM" NEVER again...
She gets it the next day on her door step left out over night NO phone call to me or her NOTHING!
They also FORGOT the ballon bundle??!! The fruit was't even ripe or sweet - HORRIBLE!
I left an email yesterday morning telling them about this and they have yet to get back to me...UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Thursday, May 6th, 2010, I ordered & paid for a Mother's day arrangement. It came in a vase with red hearts & looked more Valentines day than Mom's day. I ordered the arrangement with a BLUE vase, & the clerk agreed, no problem, & no additional charge. Yep, when I went on Sat. to pick it up it was in the "wrong vase". The same clerk was waiting on me & never spoke up that she didn't write the order up correctly while this whole incident took place!!
The man takes the arrangement in the back. Comes out again saying this is the vase this order come in. I explained I pre-ordered the blue one. Another comes out & says something to the clerk & goes back...3 times now as I watch leaning against the cooler to get away from the register. The store was packed & I had backed away from the register.
Well, this fat, loud mouth woman (can't use lady) came out with the arrangement in her hand SCREAMING AT THE TOP OF HER LUNGS,
"this order comes in this vase & we did it correctly"!!
I couldn't believe my ears!! I happened to be by the door she came from & stepped up to her to ask her to LOWER HER VOICE...
I never got the chance to say anything as this woman,
SCREAMED...
"GET OUT OF MY FACE"!! Did ya'll see that? Witnesses "she" got in my face!
I stepped back & she went towards the register, "still as loud as she could be & talking the whole time", saying:
"Give her money back.
We don't want customers like you.
I ask to speak with the owner & even in a louder voice she screamed:
"I'm the owner!" And I want you out of my store!
You accosted me. I could call the police & have you arrested!
The statement about the police got to me! I quickly stated:
"Don't bother, I'll call the police for you!!
I know there is a corporate over you & I will contact them also"!
I stepped outside & waited for the Southaven Police to arrive. Well 2 officers showed up & I knew them both, as my sister worked with their dept. closely when she was alive. As I was talking with the officers this loud mouth woman comes out with the arrangement waving it in the air:
"I tried to accommodate her we even put white chocolate on the order & "offered" her money back. (recalled she demanded to give me my money back without every saying she would even give me a stupid blue vase) continuing to mouth, she got in my face, I have witnessess." And waving papers at the policeman.
Get this, the policeman told her to shut up!! He took the papers, looked them over, & stated to the owner,
Looks like YOUR employee did not write up the order correctly! THIS DOES NOT SHOW YOU HAVE GIVEN HER MONEY BACK. THESE ARE COPIES OF THE RECEIPT WHERE SHE PAID!
She was screaming, Saying she gave me my money back & had NEVER even run thru a credit up to this point! A man came out & stood behind the owner listening. After a few minutes, "HE" went back into the store ran a credit & gave the police a refund ticket. She was going to keep my money, as well as treat me like dirt in front of a store full of people!!! Thank goodness the policeman caught her trick of deception. She started talking again and the policeman told her again to shut up as he didn't want to listen to her "bitching". I was shocked at this.
The owner went back inside & the policeman said:
"All this over a blue vase for a customer? Why didn't she just change it out?"
THIS WAS MY SAME THOUGHT FROM THE BEGINNING!!!
THEN THE POLICEMAN SAID SOME THING THAT REALLY GOT ME:
"Don't be ashamed for calling us. We have had to come to this store
4 or 5 times, and it's all because of this owner!!!"
FOLKS IF SHE ACTS THIS WAY TO THE POINT POLICE HAVE HAD TO BE CALLED 4 OR 5 TIMES BEFORE ME...
SOMETHING IS BAD WRONG WITH THIS STORE OWNER!!!
SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS COMMUNITIES BUSINESS AND OUR HARD EARNED MONEY THINKING SHE CAN CONTINUE TO ACT RUDE, CRUDE, HORRIBLE, & ANY OTHER WAY SHE WANTS WITH A CUSTOMER!!
Customers do not under ANY SITUATION deserve this type of treatment!!
So don't but yourself in any contact with this woman, as there is no telling what you will get!!
When the owner came out "all" she had to do was make one statement & NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED:
" I'll be glad to change the vase if you don't mind waiting a moment"

Horrendous Customer Service
My boyfriend decided to surprise me with one of Edible Arrangements bouquets for Valentine's Day. He pre-ordered, and when he went to the store to pick it up, the customer service representatives could not find his order. After keeping him waiting for twenty minutes, they went into the back and the owner then accused him of already picking up his order and attempting to get another one for free. Despite having no proof to substantiate such an accusation and his insistence that he did not already pick it up, the owner of the store rudely insisted that he did. Disgusted, Mauricio angrily told the owner that he wanted to cancel the order and was told that the order could not be canceled because it was already made, and a bouquet was practically thrown at him "just to get [him] out of [there]."
This was the fourth or fifth bouquet that Mauricio has bought for me, and we have been consistently delighted with the products. I have glowingly recommended the service to friends, family and coworkers. I sincerely regret doing so, as I would hate to think that anyone else may receive the same kind of treatment that my boyfriend did. Needless to say, they not only lost us as customers, but I will now tell every single person I associate with about our experience, and that my boyfriends integrity was questioned so he could be accused of trying to steal from the store and was treated appallingly.
