I wanted a locker from HDFC. I was told by Miyapur Hyderabad branch that I will have to open a SavingMax joint account and have 1, 00, 000 fixed deposit. He also told me that since I am making the fixed deposit i dont have to maintain a minimum balance. So I opened a joint saving account in my and my wife's name. I asked if the fixed deposit can be mede in my wife's name, he said ya its ok.
But after 2 months I got the statement where Rs 1680 was deducted for not maintaining minimum balance. I contacted customer care and the branch ... now they are saying fixed deposit should be name in primary account holder and my wife is secondary account holder so it will not be considered. When I told its you only who said before that I can open fixed deposit in my wife's name, then he said nothing can be done, once money is deducted it wont be reverted back in any case. I pointed out even you product litrature does not say fixed deposit should be in name of primary account holder on what basis you are claiming this. He said it are their internal rules, so nothing can be done now. This is the way HDFC bank cheats customers.

I do not have any kind of relationship with HDFC Bank but still I am getting harassment calls from HDFC Band Cedit Card Collection department.

Reason being My daughter has not made minimum payment of their credit card. As she is married and from last 2 years I dont have any contact with my daughter. I am getting threatening calls from HDFC Bank.

I want to know on which basis they can call me. Did they ask me before issuing credit card to her or Am i guarantor?

I request the bank not to call me again otherwise I have to take some action against them.

Dear Sir,

I have a HDFC Credit Card No. 4346 7720 0817 1570. This is to inform you that HDFC credit cards division is harassing me unnecessary. I settled all my payments without getting any official statement from the bank for my investigation I made the payment by cash on 19 May’2009 but still since last month I am getting the bill for late fee and taxes on that. But still I am getting statements for payment due.

I called customer care and complained about this but l was not gate satisfaction answer at your side actually I got the last bill on 17 Oct’2009 with charges.

Please request them to reverse all the unnecessary levied charge otherwise I
will be surrender my card.

Please help me and suggest what all actions can I take in this regard.

i have been working with hdfc banking thrissur mg road branch from 2007 july to 2009 february .i had resigned from service and get relieved on february 5.since then i am trying to get my pf, but i am not getting any answer from hdfc bank.

I HAVE USED HDFC BAN CREDIT CARD WHICH I HAVE CLOSED ON OCTOBER 2008 AFTER A FINAL SETTLEMNT OF 14000/-.BANK HAS MDE 4 EMI FOR THIS PAYMENT.BUT SOME HOW I COULD NOT MADE THE PAYMENT ON TIME HOWEVER I MADE PAYMENT FOR 1200/- EVERY MONTH FROM THE ABOVE SAID DATE.MR. ANKUR A COLLECTION MANGER IN LUCKNOW HAS ASSURED ME THE IF I AM PAYING 1200/- PER MONTH FOR A GIVEN PERIOD OF TIME MY SETTLEMENT WILL COMPLETE.HOWEVER TODAY I NRECEIVE A CALL FROM011 32678203, 09582305769 SAYING THAT WE ARE CALLING FROM DELHI POLICE.U HAVE AN OUTSTANDING OF 37000/-.COURT HAS ISSUED WORRENT AGAINST YOU.WE ARE COMING TO ARREST YOU.I AM UNDER A LOT OF MENTAL STRESS AND SO MY FAMILY.PLZ SEE THIS & TREST IT AS AN URGENCY.
