Beware....
Mid November I ordered a Le Corbusier LC3 replica through Inmod. I was super excited, the sofa would be all leather, I paid more for a nicer quality and the wait was reasonable, 8 to 10 weeks. Soon it became clear though it would take longer….and longer, but finally, after 6 months of wait, it finally arrived. Hm, something was off, starting with being extremely uncomfortable to sit in. I measured the sofa as it seemed so short and yes, it was much shorter than my previous sofa, over 3 inch. When I put my old replica chair next to it (mind you, with the same specifications as Inmod’s) you can see it sticking out 3 inch. They are now only willing to give me either a store credit or money back minus $250. The sofa was not produced according to their specifications on their website, I am the one who is inconvenienced, as I now do not have a sofa to sit on, AND, I have to pay for a pick up. This is amoral and not right. My biggest mistake though is not checking for reviews because now I see I’m not the only one that received bad service and mediocre products.

Shady Business Practices
When I placed an order from inmod.com, it was listed as "in stock" with a delivery date of 1-2 weeks. I placed the order and frequently checked for an update on the status of the item, which was never updated on the website. I sent several emails, none of which were responded to. Nearing the end of the 2 week period, I finally called inmod to determine the status of my order. I was informed that the "in stock" item would actually not be available for another 3 months. No one bothered to send me notification that the item was backordered. I asked to cancel the order, and was told I had to send them an email in order to cancel. I don't know why, since I was speaking to a live person, that they couldn't cancel over the phone...and they had not responded to my previous emails. Anyway, I insisted they stay on the line with me while I sent the email. I then asked when I could expect to be refunded, since they immediately charged my credit card for an item that wasn't even in stock. To my udder shock, they respond, "whenever we get to it." Luckily, I had paid with PayPal, and was able to open a dispute. Otherwise, I don't know if I would have ever been refunded. I do NOT trust this seller, and will not buy from them again.

Very frustrating experience
We ordered 4 bar stools from inmod. The height description for the seat of the bar stools is 27" on inmod.com . The actual seat height is 29" making the bar stools uncomfortable to sit in and aesthetically unpleasing. Despite this error, Inmod charges for returns and a 20% restocking fee. Further, one of the bar stools came without the endcaps on the feet making it unusable, since the feet will scratch the floor without the endcaps. I have been in contact with Inmod via email twice in the last month and we still do not have the feet for this chair. Very frustrating experience. I will not shop from them ever again, nor do I recommend that anyone else shops from them.

Terrible experience
I ordered a custom duvet cover on 8/3/08. The time listed on the site to receive the merchandise was 4-6 weeks. I placed an iquiry about the merchandise on 10/3/08 saying that if I did not get the merchandise in 2 weeks, I needed to cancel the order (at that time it had been 9 weeks). On 10/30/08, I noticed the charge hit my credit card, called them immediately, and was told they only take cancellations via email. Subsequently I was told that custom merchandise cannot be returned. TOTALLY FINE, except 13-14 weeks is unacceptable for delivery time on a duvet cover that costs $659. They should have 1)contacted me to tell me it was backed up 2) offered a discount for taking almost 3x the shipment date and 3) offered the option to cancel.

Disappointing experience
I ordered an expensive lamp from them. When we unpacked it, the base was damaged and the cover for the hole from which the cord exits was loose. This is a safety hazard as the cord can rub on the metal edges and be damaged, an issue with children in the house. I sent photos and notified them right away. Be aware that if something is damaged, they expect you to pay to return it, and charge you a restocking fee. The restocking fee makes no sense, because it indicates that they are going to restock a defective item and then send it to someone else? I know of no merchant online who expects a customer to return a defective product at their own expense and pay a restocking fee! If a product is damaged, they pick it up at their own expense.

I want them to pay to have the lamp sent back, and fully refund my money. They offered an exchange for a similar lamp, but then notified me that they no longer carry it.
