I subscribed for one time only to search my old lost fried for $9.95. and now they started charging me $19.95 every 13th of the month since 1-13-09 . I did not ask for another subsription. How can i cancl this and really dificult to contact them. Please Help...

I CALLED THE NUMBER THAT WAS GIVEN ON MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT THAT HAD AN UNAUTHORIZED CHARGE FROM INTELIUS AND THEY TOLD ME MY WAIT COULD BE UP TO 20 MINUTES OR LONGER AND THEN GAVE ME AN EMAIL ADDRESS OF [email protected] TO CONTACT WITH MY CONCERN.
I DID EMAIL THEM MY CONCERN, AND GOT A REPLY THAT I COULD NOT EMAIL THEM ON THE EMAIL ADDRESS I WAS JUST GIVEN. I WAS DIRECTED TO ANOTHER SITE WHERE I HAD TO SUBMIT A FORM AND MY COMPLAINT.

ESPECIALLY WHEN LOOKING FOR A PHONE NUMBER OR ADDRESS TO A LOST RELATIVE! NONE OF THE INFO THAT THEY GIVE YOU IS ANYWHERE NEAR CORRECT!

I am trying to remember having authorized these charges...Could you please remind me as to what these products / and or services are?

I originally wanted a cross reference phone number only, for a charge of $ 1.95 only (then the info was INCORRECT) and not as shown on the initial screen, then to process, a message came up "no" or "yes" to proceed to report. This was totally misleading, and the yes, instead of only for your report, apparently generates this trial offer, and when you immediately attempt to cancel, you get nowhere. I have attempted all kinds of emails, telephone calls and all to no avail. Please inform me of a telphone number or address to contact for my refund of $ 19.95 and how to stop any further charges to my account.
Cancellation was verified by 24Protect Plus, whom the original phone call referred me to, now they state they are not responsible for the additional charge.

They charged my account 19.95 when I had not authorized anyone to use my debit card, had to pay $26.00 to have my card reissued because of another piggyback from their site valuemax also tried to charge me $19.95 also without authorization.. Waited on phone for over 20 minutes to talk to some one from intelius/called my bank have to go in and fill out papers now against intelius to get my own money back. Mona Hackney
