My Visa account was charged $19.95 for an "Intelius Subscription" which I did NOT authorize. My name is the only one on that account and I expect the amount to be credited as soon as possible and remove my name from any list which you have. Thank you.

Authorized $ 2.95 for a people search and was charged $19.95 for two months and also was signed up for At Home Rewards. And was also charged $19.95 for that. I cancelled my check card so this should stop them from getting any more money out of my account. Had to call twice to get them to cancel both the People Search and At Home Rewards. Something needs to be done about these people. I'm on a fixed income and this hurts.

Most of the people who regret having given their credit card details to Intelius should prepare an event log of dates of contact with Intelius and the nature of the contact then use it to make formal complaints to the Federal Trade Commission here:

Just give them an event log of the facts, order numbers, dates and amounts paid. No need to be abusive!

The more carefully-worded complaints that are made about Intelius, the sooner the authorities will take appropriate corrective action.
