The scammers thought they could scam me, but after researching more on NationalCreditReport.Com I called to cancel the membership fee within the hour, and someone answered right away. So I think this helps with having them charge your account within the 24 hours. The lady who answered was polite and nice, so that was something different than the comments about the reps mentioned here. I do recommend you beat the late rush they have later after the 24 hour is up to get an earlier cancellation. I did also e-mail the 'scam team' and recieved an e-mail from sam ambrose who is supposed to be the VP of the NationalCreditReport saying that my account had been cancelled. On the site it says due to fraud I will have to call to verify. I didn't risk to wait for the email- as I tried to log on again to the site and it said my account had been canceled. Therefore, I called the NationalCreditReport line.
Got it canceled and hopefully it does not charge my account. I asked about the $1.95 refundable fee and the lady said it will be taken care of within 3-5 days, meaning before the 7 day trial.
-hope this helps!
