a lawyer is needed
a fellow team member of the logistics flow team was injured on the job due to unloading the truck apon his injury he was left on a cold truck on the floor in pain and suffering for thirty minutes to a hour before the logistics team leader actually called an ambulance. this particular team member was indeed a strong worker who had actually been unloading the trucks since january 09 until his injury on january 2010 of this year.Due to his injuries he was of course taken off work by his doctors for a few weeks until he was released back to work. on january 27th 2010 he came back to work as usual at 3am for his regular shift ready for work but only on light duty. he worked for about an hour an thirty minutes before he was called by the logistics team leader only to be told he was fired. How low of Target! He was told that he was fired for absenties and being late which were dated over a month ago . My problem is why wasn't he told that he was fired upon the day he was late, or absent doesn't it sound horrible that target would fire this person the day he return to work after his injury. Is it that target feel threatend that this employee has the right to sue or get workman comp, and before they can get sued for negligence, unfair labor and employment acts as well as disrimination and workmans comp. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY EVER TO WORK FOR ! TARGET IS A WASTE OF HUMAN TIME AND ENERGY, So to all employees within target companies beware of the bullies that lie within HR STORE EXECS AND TEAM LEAD they are all DEVILS (FAST FUN AND FREINDLY) yeah right change that to Hell hath no fury like a target team member scorned

Unbelievable experience
I had made a purchase at the Target Store(14065 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA. 31406)on December 19th, 2008. My purchase was a Wii video game for my husband for Christmas.

Later on the week I decided that I was going to return the video game because I saw one somehwere else I wanted to get him. So I went into Target on December 24th, 2008 and returned the video game for $53.49 and they asked if I wanted to put it back on the debit card that I used and I said yes. They said that because of the holidays that it would take 24 - 48 hours to post to my account.

I got onto my financial institutions website today to see if it had posted and it shows on my statement that it posted once as a refund and then they charged my account again for the $53.49. I called Target to see why I had been charged again after the refund and they said to come down to the store that a lady by the name of Crystal Taylor would take care of it for me. So I drive 20 miles to Target to see Crystal Taylor and she looks at my receipt's (original and refund receipt), and then she goes to the team member office for a while and then comes back and gives it to one of the associates (her name was Susan)(works at Customer Service Dept). She sits on the computer for a while trying to find the purchase/refund on their computer system and no luck, so she leaves for 5 minutes only to come back and say they can't do anything about it.

When she came back I asked her why can't they help me or credit my account? She says because the Coporate office thinks that I bought another game or something else for that same amount and now I want to get my money back. I was furious. I wouldn't be that dumb to walk in there and want money back if I knew that I had made another purchase for the exact same amount -(Mind You)!! So it came down to her handing me a card with Target Guest Relations on it. So I called the number on that card and everyone I spoke with was rude and inconsiderate. I asked for a Supervisor and the person I was speaking with didn't want to give me a supervisor, he said "Oh the Supervisor will tell you the same thing I told you." His name was Shawn with Guest Relations. I finally talked to a Supervisor and he was even more rude.

They do not know how to treat customers.I was very offended because I felt like I was being accused of trying to steal from them.

I am filing a complaint with you because I don't wish this type of service on anyone. I still don't have my money back and now I have to take it to my financial institution which is USAA and my husband who is in the Military will get it squared away for me. He is equally frustrated with the situation.

Stay away
I've been reading about people getting hurt at Target and not getting their medical bills paid. I guess I'm not alone. I slipped on some Gel back in May of '08 and got injured at a Target Store in Norridge Illinois. I hired a lawyer who said he would get my medical bills taken care of, along with a small settlement for work time lost...etc.

However after dragging things out their insurance company (Sedgwick) didn't pay us a dime. I'm stuck with a several thousand dollar doctor's bill.

I'm the founder and part of an organization called "Citizens United Against Corporate Corruption." We need more members. Please contact my e-mail address if interested. We've already been contacting Target shareholders and asking them to sell out. But I think we also need to spread the word throughout the country with fliers and mass mailing to warn as many people as possible to stay away from Target.

Bad customer service
I received a Polaroid Digital Picture frame for Christmas. Tried it. The device would not upload pictures from the computer (no USB function). Tried to return item in original package, with receipt, two weeks after purchase. I was told it had been "used" because I had turned it on. The person at the returns desk said the manager would not meet with me. I offered my business card, hoping to elicit the managers card in return. The manager refused to meet with me or provide his name. Instead, I was provided with a national customer service number. Each time I called, I was told the matter would be looked in to by a supervisor. Each supervisor told me the job of national Customer Service said their job is to back the store managers. Caveat Emptor!

When we ruturned a already half eptey bottle of airfreshener the lady was very rude did not say hello when we said hello and acted like wewere lying to her

I will never shop again!
I received a singer sewing machine for christmas from my husband, we threw out the receipt because i was not expecting to have to return the product.

Upon using the product i discovered that the sewing machine was broken.

I went to Target in Latham, NY today to exchange it for a working model.

The Customer Service employee was helpful and agreed to do the exchange without the receipt. I was instructed to walk to the back of the store and get a new one then to come back and get in line.

Upon returning with the new machine i was informed that i would have to pay $20 to cover a sales cost. The Manager stated that the machine was on sale when my husband bought it and that wasnt true. My husband had paid $89.99 for the sewing machine and that is how much it was today. I was then asked to step away from the counter and call the corporate office. I did this and was greeted by a less then friendly employee over the phone who refused to help me and who told me that i was in the wrong and needed to pay this so called "difference" if i wanted a working machine. At the same time the lady behind me in line was forced to pay $2.50 for something she had just purchased at a different Target that she wanted to exchange for a different size. This does not seem right or fair that Target can just extort shoppers out of their money for no reason.

I still have the broken sewing machine and now have to pay to have it shipped to Syracuse and have it repaired through Singer. This hardly seems like a fair business practice and these people should be ashamed of themselves for the way they treat loyal customers. I will never shop target again!

bare wires
Bought christmas lights for our tree, and there is no name on the box except for the letter "M".
Started putting up the tree in layers, draping the multi color lights on each layer. Half way around the second layer, I have 2 bare cord wires hovering just above my hand. I had only opened one of the 2 bundles so I can better handle the string of lights. One of the bulbs was missing, so the Chinese worker just packed it up and sent it on its way.

Just imagine plugging in the lights to give them an initial look over. Better yet, have a child accidentally touch the bare wires. My grand daughters are 2years old and the other one is 8 months.

Why not take it back? Because the gas that I waste is more than the product itself.
I expect more from Target, for all of the shopping we do there.

Buyer beware, ... you can't sue those outside of the USA..

I ended up putting a wire screw cap and tape to cover up the danger.

I will take it back...but it just ticks you off.

Target Holiday commericals
I did not shop Target this Christmas season. I thought all their commericals were terrible. A woman buys a big screen tv. Her husband gives her a hard time . He is BULLING HER and she is almost begging him to listen to her that she got it on sale. I squrimed watching it. The look on the childs face while they were fighting was awful.I lived with a bully about money.
A mother drags a kid out of the store telling him his toys come form Santa. The look on the kids face made me cry.
They could do better than that. I hope they missed my money.

Wrong advertisment
I am a frequent consumer at targets until the day of December 17, 2009 when i entered your store located on 20Th ave in new york city, queens. i attempted to purchase an item at your store for the advertised price when i reached the counter to pay for the item i was told the price was wrong i took a picture of the advertisement while i was still in the store when your store realized the item was priced wrong. the manager had the floor personal remove the item from the shelves. and attempted to change the price after not purchasing the item. i proceeded to complete the sale of the remaining items. your manager and security was rude and i was embarrassed in front of other consumers. it was your store's error in wrongly pricing that item, and i was treated like i criminal.

Racisim/Discrimination
I got terminated today by a softline executive manager "Val" today when i was finished with my work duties and was heading to home.I'm being asked by my team leader "Tanja" to not to clock out and follow her to the "VAL'S" office. Now "tanja" is the one who is a racist who doesn't like anybody from different nationality, what she likes to do is hang around in the store, sit at the fitting room, make fun of others and bosses around.She never puts any effort at work where it motivates others.If you are a team leader you are supposed to lead the team not just harass me menatally by checking small details of work being done.In other words she just bothers and bothers and bothers.

These are the reasons been given by "val" to me before terminating me becasue according to "Tanja" it has made "val" to fire me.

1)Tanja claims that i don't work at all - all the time hanging around in the store -Now explain me if i'm doing things like that.Why they dont show me the proof.They have cameras installed in the whole store.Please show it to me if i'm not working and just messing around. They have to give me a solid proof to make me believe of the blaim.

2)Tanja claims that i'm coming late to work - Now, why doesn't, "Val" go and check my punching records whether i'm being late to work everyday. In reality i'm always on time.

3) If tanjya doesn't work thats becomes okay and solve there personal life problems sitting at the fitting room Thats okay - If i just ask some of the co-workers regarding the job issues that witch tanja thinks i'm wasting my work time.

4)"Tanja" fat ass doesn't work at all and just messes around with people with dark skin or with different nationality.She thinks people who ar enot white are all thieves..She never says this but her behavior speaks a lot and i'm not fool who can't see that..

"Val", the executive manager, didn't even cross check with any other co-workers about the complains being brought up by "Tanja" regarding me.She just saw the complain sheet made by "tanja" and fired me...Even i was being given good compliments 4 times by the customers for an outstanding consumer serivice.If i dont work i dont get that...Simple!!

I will not let it go now..I will suit "tanja" for discrimination and harassment issues.See you in the court "TANJA".
