Numerous problems in guaranteed delivery and claims for refund
I spend approximately $50-75, 000 with UPS each year. We have encountered numerous problems in guaranteed delivery and claims for refund due to failure are always denied. Over the past several years, UPS has become deceptive and unethical in the processing of legitimate claims. I recently had a parcel completely flattened, and was told that the packaging was insufficient.

shipping
On mon. feb 8, 2010, I shipped a package from zephyrhills, fl. to Oneonta, ny. This is the 16th and it's not there yet and tracking shows it was rescheuled and will bre there on the 18th. Also tracking shows me it got tt tampa, fl on the 12th. I called postal zone and and informed it was picked up on gthe 9th, what took it 4 days to get to tampa, no one wants to give me an answer to this question. WELL STEP UP TO THE PLATE. I do a lot of shipping via ups, however i shall be shipping with other shippers if this is the servce i get from ups. I will also have my suppliers use other shippers also. Thanks for your time Art

Delivery rules & regulations
UPS is the LEAST user-friendly/customer oriented company that I have ever dealt with. I live in the city. I don't have a car. I work 9-5, and I live in a building w/o a doorman. UPS only delivers 9-5 on weekdays (when everyone is at work), and will not leave your shipment in a lobby or in front of your door (even if you authorize them to), nor are they authorized to call you to come open your front door if your buzzer is broken. After 3 attempts, they will send your shipment back to the sender, or you can authorize them to hold your shipment at their designated office. So, you pay for shipping, and essentially have to go pick your stuff up anyway. The only office where I could pick up my shipment is 3 trains, and 1 1/2 hrs. away from me ONE-WAY, AND it is only open until 6pm. So, I work until 5pm, and it will take me 1 1/2 hours to get there, and by then it will be closed anyway. Here's the real kick in the pants, there is a location right around the corner from me, but they won't leave my package there because I do not have a mailbox there. When I called to complain to a supervisor about their ridiculous polices, she told me to contact the sender and try to arrange for another delivery company to re-send it. How does UPS even stay in business like this?! NEVER AGAIN will I purchase anything where it needs to be shipped via UPS!

Harass costumers
The delivery person lie and misrepresent the status of the delivery .They have been harassing me now for a month by msreprenstng information on the webste by mentioning comments like" Customer was not avaliable for sugnature" without even comng to my place .

Second time the mentioned that as per customers instructions the packet should be picked up at the ups store .
The company sucks in delivery and a strict action should be taken against them ...

Awful customer service
The customer service at this place is so bad. You will want to throttle them. You can be as nice and polite as possible and they will make you want to tear your hair out with their awful customer treatment and overcharging. The owner is the worst one because he backs up his employees that mistreat customers. I am just trying to warn other people away from a place where they will have a bad experience guaranteed. And if you already have, you are not alone. I hope enough people boycott this place that it goes out of business.

UPS stole package
UPS employees stole my UPS package. A family member shipped a brand new handbag worth $2, 600 via UPS 3 day guarantee. The package was packaged properly with the handbag wrapped in cloth, then placed in a small box. This small box was then placed in a larger box. The larger box contained styrofoam and padding. When I received the UPS package, the packing tape on the bottom part of the box looked frayed. In addition, while the top and sides of the box were taped with many layers of packing tape, the bottom of the box was only taped with one layer of packing tape. Also, the box was very very light - as if nothing was inside. I opened the box and inside was the small box. The small box was empty - only the cloth remained. Someone at UPS had opened my package en route and took out the contents. I have contacted UPS but they are being non-responsive and uncooperative. UPS just keeps on telling me that "they are sorry this happened" and that "they are looking into it". UPS should take responsibility for this because it is one of their employees that stole and committed a federal felony. I will never use UPS again and will bring an action against UPS in small claims court.

Customer Service
Why is UPS so afraid to answer the phone? Could it be that, back on 9 Decmeber 2009, the driver associated with my UPS store, 545 Brush Avenue, Bronx, NY 10465 (718-678-1900) stole my merchandise and permitted someone other than myself to take delivery of it?

Could it be that they routinely have their drivers' record fraudulent entries that reflect that a package was undeliverable?

Could it be that supervisors at the Brush Avenue location permit drivers to drive company trucks with passengers (girlfriends) inside during route times?

Why has Mr. Ronald McMillan refused to take action and simply pass off complaints about the customer care of the company that pays him a salary???


Should the American people continue to justify the sub-standard actions of a Mr. Ronald McMillan??

And the saga continues: My delivery was interrupted by a rogue driver this evening, in the Bronx, NY location. The office has refused to answer calls, even from the main number/center, in Tucson, AZ.

Supervisor Mr. Ronald McMillan, while laughing at me on the phone, assured me that my package was in fact in their center and delivery would be rescheduled for another day.

I informed Mr. McMillan that the NYPD had been contacted and a report for stolen merchandise filed.

UPS simply has to take a look at its operations and find out what in hell is wrong with the management and employees at the UPS store located at 545 Brush Avenue, Bronx NY 10456

Delivery
For 3-1/5 yrs., the UPS store located in the Bronx, NY, has consistently lost packages, refused to delivery due to inclimate weather, cussed at myself, my neighbors, stolen (yes, the police were involved) merchandise and out and out given UPS a black eye.

Complaints have been filed with the national number, supervisors have been unsympathetic to complaints and for some un-Godly reason, UPS management sees nothing wrong with continually increasing rates while service suffers.

Under no circumstances will I, or any one that I'm affiliated with, will EVER contract with UPS for anything.

Someone at UPS needs to wake up and realize that they have a problem. And I'm guessing that its not only in my neighborhood.

NON DELIVERY OF PARCELS
I can't believe what a bunch of morons work for UPS, They claim that they delivered a package to me on monday afternoon, and left it on my porch. Which is fine, but I was home and nobody left anything on my porch. This isn't the first time that UPS has screwed up. I had a package overnighted to me from Phoenix, and it took mr five days to get it. Their excuse? They could'nt find my address. That's funny, the pizza guy does'nt have a problem. Fed-Ex does'nt have a problem. Everybody on the face of God's grey earth does'nt have a problem just UPS. I'm under the impression that these jokers are blowing me off. They are a totally unrealiable company and their so-called guaruntees are pointless. " What can brown do for me?" Apparently not much. D. Jewell
