Worst customer service
I have dealt with Verizon wireless, internet and now telephone for several years now. Each of their products has one thing in common, horrible customer sevice. I cancelled my service in June as I sold my home a relocated in July. Verizon continued to charge me for another two months. It is impossible to reach a manager capable of making a decision outside of their algorithm. I finally got a hold of someone who could sort this out and I was supposed to get a refund. Instead, it is now Sept and I get a bill for early disconnection. Twice I have called and ask to speak to a manager and both times I was place on hold for >25 min until I just gave up. I will go out of my way to utilize any company other and Verizon for my communication needs in the future.

Fraud
I had a pin no on my account, when my mail was stolen.they aloud 800.00$ worth of downloads without the pin no. They keep sending me a bill, that get higher. which is mail fraud, falsifing a report and, document fraud.

Incorrect Charges and did not Cancel my Account, but took the cancellation charge money that i payed them.
Back In February of 2010 I was given a netbook by a friend as a going away present (it was theirs and then they did not need it anymore). So after I moved I canceled the data plan at the Verizon store in Lake Worth, Texas in April of 2010. I payed the early cancellation fee as well as the balance on it.
Its now october and i get a call that my account is still active and that i owe them money.
There is no number where i can get a hold of someone to tell them they are charging me for an account that was canceled out months ago. And the automated call that calls my cell does not give me any options, but options where i pay them through the automated system.
My complaint is that they did not cancel my account when i asked them and PAYED them the early cancellation fee (which is not cheap). AND that there is no phone number to talk to a real person, and i do have a job almost 11 to 12 hours a day) and cant just take off time to argue with some guy at some store who will then have to call his corporate office that will only tell me to wait, and then require me constantly checking back on them. They simply lack customer service.

bad business
verizon techs, customer service, credit department, and sales wasted over 3 hours of my cell phone time for a transfer of my old service to a new location...I HATE VERIZON...the credit dept. rep (DAVID ) hung up on me and was very rude...he needs to GO!!! a supervisor refused to talk to me (BRENDA) and the sales and tech depts. wasted my cell phone minutes...how i could tell they wasted it on purpose...after a while te asked me my name over and over again!!!stupid...I HATE VERIZON...they don't have anybody checking on their reps...and the reps piss off VALUED CUSTOMERS...don't they know they work for the public?..they also denied my phone service in order for me to get a job...i lost the job oppnty because after 4.5 hours i still didn't have a phone!!!from the 3 hours to the 4.5 hours i went to a phone booth to try to resolve this issue...again because their techs. wasted all of my cell phone minutes...I HATE VERIZON...WITH A PASSION!!!to think they called me a VALUED CUSTOMER!!!I HATE VERIZON...their automated system suck also...I HATE VERIZON...i recommend highly not to use them...if you can. and when they start losing money maybe the can look to themselves and realize that they aren't as big and powerful as they thought they were...DOWN WITH VERIZON...I HATE VERIZON..i thing on sending this to the attorney general for those reps costing me my cell phone minutes and dening me a public utility...we the peple should get together a get a CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY. I HATE VERIZON WITH A STRONG PASSION!!! they even sent me a modem that i don't need ...they don't LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER AT ALL!...I WILL ALWAYS HATE VERIZON...ALWAYS...i know where they have their head...besides on your money.

Terrible customer service
I am a long term Verizon Wireless customer who has been an advocate of your products until today 10-1-2010. This morning my Motorola Droid was dead after being fully charged. It was extremely inconveniencing as I use my phone as an alarm clock, and arrived late at work and then had to leave work to visit my Verizon store. (2531 S. Lapeer, Lake Orion, MI)
My experience at the Verizon store was very frustrating and a waste of time. Dean informed me that they did not have any replacement Droids in stock and could ship a new phone by Tuesday 7 pm at the latest. My immediate response was that this was an unacceptable solution and from this point forward the customer service went downhill. I ask to talk to the manager and when Donna arrived she did not seem to care about the circumstances, I was told the best they could do was ship the phone. My question is why does it taking escalating the situation and numerous questions for the terms of replacement to improve?

DSL Not working,nor is Customer service
On 9-30-10 our verizon DSL was very slow, We were having storms in the area, So waited till Saturday 10-3-10 to call verizon, asked if there was an outage in the area they said no.Were were told estimated time of Resolution 24 hrs and we would be called, Called Sunday 10-4-10, They said there was an outage in the area and could not fix the issue until the outage was cleared. they said they would escalate the ticket and we would be notified, (Spoke with neighbors who have verizon, they said they're internet was working fine) Called 10-5-10 they said no one worked on the ticket, asked to speak with a supervisor, the CSR laughed at us and told us someone would call back, we explained that we've never been called back and would hold, supervisor got on the line and said a "special Team" was assigned to the ticket, This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and here it is Thursday 10-7-10, still no internet

no dial tone
For 8 or 9 years I have randomly lost dial tone on my house phone. I have learned over the years to check to box at the back of the house ( never a tone there either when not one inside). They always send out a tech ( 3 to 5 days later), and tell me they fixed it this time. Last week 09/27/10 to today 10/3/10, I have lost service every day but Wednesday ( and I am not certain of that just didnt notice). I called everyday. I was told Wednesday, a supervisor will call me back in 2 hours, today is Sunday and I am still waiting. I was the same thing Friday evening and this evening. Tonight, I asked the rep. what was I supposed to do if there is an emergency and there was no dial tone on the phone? He asked me if I was really asking him what to do. I told him yes, I tell him I live in a rural area with spotty service, now what? He sid he did not have an answer. He tld me he wasn'g going to sit there and let me get him riled up. I run my business from home, my number is my business number. If a potential customer calls and hears a recording that says my number is no longer in service, what do you think they will do? Go to the next name on their list. I am also looking for a part-time job outside of home, if a potentila employer hears that recording what so you think they will think? They will wonder what else I lied about on my application. Get him riled up? I am beyond riled up, past seethng mad. I pay my bill ( $75 a month!) on time every month. They expect my money, I expect service 24/7. I have never in 8 or 9 years seen a credit for any time lost. I have faxed a complaint to the Virginia SCC. I have called Verizon tech. support every day. Does anybody have any advice?

PREPAID PHONES

partial refund
I recieved a letter from Verizon thanking me for continued prepaid service and authorization for automatic withdrawal. Problem #1
i never gave them permission so i call Verizon Prepaid. After a
long wait i finally get someone. After explaining the situation she
tells me i am getting half my refund thats ridiculous! Turns out
$97.20 was taking out over 10 days! So the credit i received was
$16.20 far from the half i was promised. Bottom line i got nothing but
the run around from Verizon. I deserve a full refund which is $81.00! I once was a Verizon customer but i can "honestly"
say i will never be a Verizon customer never again. So consumer
beware!!!

WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH VERIZON?!
I had Verizon's bundle package for phone and cable, the rate was reasnoble BUT I couldn't wait till my contract ended. I ended up waisting hours and hours of my time dealing with Verizon--In a nutshell Verizon gets my highest score for incompetence, they cannot do anything right, and their cusomer service will just drive you insane. I would have gladly paid more money to avoid all that aggrivation. It's truly amazing how they have remained in business.

Customer Service
I switched from Verizon to Clear (that needs a different complaint page) and within a week I tried to switch back to verizon. Verizon canceled my international carrier, and chargned my SIX dollar per minute. As much as I tried Verizon was unable to switch back the number or win back the number. They sold me a bundle but did not tell me that with a bundle I can't choose my own international carrier.
Every time I called them, they put me on hold, no one had a clue. No one cared.
Every thing they want to do, the need one to two weeks. Meanwhile I have been left without phone and internet. Aweful company. Don't buy into their commercials.
Stay away from Verizon if you can.
