Wal-Mart Reviews

Soy in every product
I would like to know why soy is in just about every product in the grocery stores. I am very allergic to soy and find it almost impossible to buy foods I'd like to buy and can't because of the soy content. I never had food allergies until the past several years when all of a sudden soy was introduce to food to help lower cholesterol and whatever else it does. Please, can't there be a few foods without soy. I want to use products that will help lower my weight i.e., Slim fast shakes and their products, ice cream, cereal and many more products that presently have soy based ingredients. Could someone please look into this? I think this store must have a different section of soy food it's not possible to keep checking all the packets and their ingredients, please it's a humble request to Wal-Mart to solve this problem. Now I have already purchased the monthly grocery and now checking on it I have all the packets which have soy content. I am in a big loss. I will have to go on consuming despite of not liking it as I can't afford to buy the grocer till my next pay.

my child treated unfairly
I will start this letter off saying I am not happy with my daughter has done, nore do I approve of what she did

However my daughter and I went shopping. My daughter wanted to look at the toys. After we met up again my eleven year old daughter was arrested for shoplifting aswe left the stor. I thought they were just arresting her because she was black. However she was actually shoplifting.

However here is where the unfair treatment is. If my daughter had been white they would never have suspected her. She would have gotton away with it.

The security had the nerve to tell me that they have been watching her for a few weeks because she was acting suspicious. I guess all blacks are suspicious in their eyes.

They lied to me and said that my daughter was trying to steal before. My daughter admitted this, however if my daughter had been white they would never have caught her in the first place because they would never suspect she would steal.

I have punished my daughter for this. However the fact that she is black is the major reason she was arrested. They would not have even looked at her if she was white.

She stole Barbie dolls and Polly Pockets for your information.

Bad service
I had been to Wal-Mart last weekend. I had seen an ad on TV and really wanted to try it out and the ad also mentioned that we could find it anywhere including Wal-Mart. So I went there but couldn't seem to find the product. Then I asked an employee were I cold find it she directed me to the concerned department. I went there, searched a lot but did not find the product. I found another employee who was busy talking to her friend. I waited for a while thinking that by seeing me she would stop talking for a sec and come to assist me as that is what her job is. But she did not stop so I went ahead and asked her she did not even look at me and pointed to an isle. I asked for a manager and there was no one to listen to my complaint regarding disservice from the employees. Employees are not being paid to gossip. I left the store wondering if that product was sold there or not. I was really shocked that I got such bad service from Wal-Mart. I doubt I will go there again.

Bad store
Previous to today I had attended their store in response to a catalogue sale to purchase some camping equipment. When I arrived I found the camping aisle deplete of nearly all stock. When I queried this fact I got told the sale had started 2 days ago and they had sold out. The fact was they cannot have had much stock to start with if it sold out that quick. The bargains weren't that good. I was offered a rain check which I accepted. Then I was told it would be a minimum of 6- 8 weeks before it came in. After not hearing from them I rang them 3 months later. Yes, the item was in stock. Why I was not told. I couldn't find your phone number. I am sure I gave it to them at the time. If not, it is in the phone book. They did have my address so could have easily found it or even sent a letter. All I can say is that I will never darken the doorstep of their stores again. When I generally talked among my friends about this they too had faced the same situation. This store is not at all ideal.

Terrible place
A year ago I had my eyes checked at your Rice Lake, Wisconsin store. I got my glasses and had them adjusted and went home. I gave the prescription a couple of days. I called the store and told them I didn't think the prescription was right. They said to come in and they would try to readjust them again. I called them back a few days later and told them that the glasses were not the right strength. I told them that I have worn glasses since I was 9 years old and something was not right. All I got was a run around. They said the prescription was right. I said how you know if you don't re-test my eyes again. They said I would have to pay to have them re-tested again. I said why do I have to pay if the glasses aren't right? They said that how it is. Well I gave up for awhile and called again and got the same run around. I was furious. I gave up. Then called again a month or so later. I didn't get anywhere at all. I just let it go. Well today I went and had my eyes check because I couldn't stand them any longer. It got to the point I could not read what was on T.V. I had to take them off to read a book. It was hard to see the computer monitor with the normal part of the glasses. I would have to use the bi-focal part to see the monitor. Everything was getting a little blurry. Well the doctor said he knew what was wrong with just having the refractor done. He said the strength was too strong. When he lessened the strength I could see so much better. He showed me the difference after he tested them. The only change was I needed was tri-focal and less strength. We trusted Wal-mart and shop there for years and years. I am very annoyed and I'm re-thinking about shopping at Wal-mart.

false advertising, management
On August 14th I drove twenty miles, I drove twenty miles to get an item that was advertised all over the store as coming out on the 14th to go with the Madden video game release. When we got there we asked the manager on duty where this item was and he said he had no idea what I was talking about. I told him it is advertised all over the store and he told me it doesnt come out until sunday(but he doesnt know what I am talking about) I then told him that the sign says the 14th and he told me I dont know what to tell you. I was aggravated but walked away. while we were shopping for other things a couple of employees that we around walked up to me and apologized for the rudeness of this manager. I appreciate these employees but now it is apparent others noticed how rude he was so I left. Got home and my wife called the store to tell them and talked to a different manager(said the store manager) told him what happened he appologized and said he has our item and he has it on his desk. So we drove twenty miles again got to the store and that manager was gone but another assistant said they have our item brought it out and it was wrong team, told them that and they said that was the only team they got(not even a close team) and I told them and showed the sign doesnt say only certain teams in certain stores but even if it did all the pictures and signs show the team I want. So we went home again so far we have driven eighty miles called 1800 walmart and complained. Was told we were right!!! and that someone would call us that evening that was 3 days ago and NOW no one even has a record of any of this with me. Right now I could care less about the item but I feel that manager that was rude should appologize to me in public since he wanted to embaress me in front of people.

Overcharged
My local Wal-Mart is selling a grill for $19.74 only when the item is scanned at the check-out, it comes up $25. The box is marked $19.74 in large print on all four sides. The cashier was unsure of how to handle the situation and asked two co-workers for advice. She was instructed to change the price to the $19.74 given on the package. I later checked the Wal-Mart website and found the same grill listed at $25. I sent an email to their customer service and was told that "the

price shown around the box is for retail purposes only and does not apply to consumers." I was unaware that the price shown on the package wasn't the price that would be charged. Upon opening the box, I discovered that the grill was stickered with the same $19.74 price as given on the box. I believe Wal-Mart ordered this item specifically for sale in their stores - the box has the odd pricing they are known for and the web address also appears.

selling books to children with horrible content
I went to your store today. I notice that in the back to school section you were selling Harry Potter books. I honestly thought a family friend store would not be selling these books. These books consist of satanic rituals and is written by a witch. These books have been banned by many churches and religious schools and libraries.

Please ban Harry Potter from your stores or I will no longer be shopping there.

weedeater tap and go wlt24
I BOUGHT A WEEDEATER AT WALMART IN JUNE 09, THE SO CALLED SALESMAN SAID THEY CARRIED THE PARTS. ACCORDING TO MY MANUAL THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CARRY ALL PARTS. I COULDNT GET NEW SPOOLS, AND THE WEEDEATER WONT CHARGE ONLY USED IT A MONTH AND A HALF, IN A SMALL AREA, ONCE AWEEK BY AN OLD LADY. SO WALMART SHOULD BE GIVING REFUNDS OR REPLACE THE WEED EATER, OTHER WISE THEY ARE NOT STANDING BEHIND THEIR MERCHANISE, AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR COUSTMER. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP, WE CANT AFFORD THIS KIND OF BUYING, . I CRAITER
