Direct TV is one of the biggest scam I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. Their advertisement is 29.99 or 34.99 a month. I specifically asked the representative before installation about whether or not there is a contract and was told no, it was going to be a month to month type of service and the monthly charge is 34.99 plus tax. I probably should have just cancelled when Directv can't seem to list my phone number right on their order form because the people that came to install it tried 3 times to find where I live.
